There are several ways to make a wooden fence more visually appealing and keep it that way for years to come.
Treat the fence with a wood sealant to protect it against the elements. It’s recommended to reseal a fence every two to three years, but if you live in a harsh climate, you may want to do it more frequently than that.
Restore the fence if it’s old, corroding, or fading. That includes cleaning it and making small repairs where needed.
Paint the fence in a color that you like, whether that’s a simple white or more vibrant option. Fences usually need to be repainted every one to three years.

A dry lawn is easier to edge than a wet one. When your ground is wet, your blades will likely clump together, making a seemingly even cut while wet, but an uneven disaster when dried. Also, a wet lawn can impact your blade's performance and cause mud to kick up, resulting in a messy finish.
We don’t recommend it. A wired brush or a brush with metal bristles damages concrete and asphalt during the stain removal process. For the best results, stick to nylon stiff enough to do the job but gentle enough to keep from scratching the driveway. For extra caution, skip the brush entirely and use towels.
You can paint an old wooden fence, but make sure first to do a deep clean (ideally with a pressure washer) and inspect the fence for any existing damage. Wood stain is usually dry to the touch within 6 to 8 hours, but you should let each coat sit for 24 hours before applying another coat or applying a protective coat over it. If you applied your stain in high humidity or cold temperatures, you may need to wait up to 48 hours for the stain to dry completely.
