Cut, chipped and stacked 3 trees, and all the extra brush we could trim form others that we wanted to clean up! The trees were many feet in diameter and very, very tall. They were on property lines, they made them fall exactly were they needed to be to protect fences. One of the Elm trees had a very large butternut Tree entwined in it that was almost dead! They knew just what to do and everything went smoothly! They were fast, reasonable, professional, friendly and fun! I will have them come back for more trees!
These guys were GREAT!

We had a silver maple (trunk diameter in excess of 3 feet) that had a significant lead coming off of the main trunk towards the neighbor's yard that was cracked... seemed like a strong wind could blow it over at any minute, although it had probably been that way for some time. Two other estimates came in at $2600 (including removal and stump grinding) and $2800. One company uses a crane, while the other company uses climbers. Thibault also uses climbers, and quoted $1280. I think the other outfits were so much more expensive because they either have so many people in their crews, or a crane to include in the cost. In one day, Thibault had cut all the limbs. The second day they (Thibault and partner) cut the rest of the tree down and everything was removed. As anticipated, some limbs fell onto the neighbor's yard. Unfortunately, a board on the top rail of their deck was damaged, but Thibault replaced it immediately. In our yard, a smaller tree lost several limbs as some of the limbs from the bigger try fell on them during the process. The tree would still survive, but we didn't want it at this point. We negotiated to have it removed for half of the regular price, which added $200 to the original estimate. Stump grinding was scheduled for a few days later when he'd be grinding stumps at different sites. The stumps seem ground down pretty well. The lawn has become pretty chewed up, which I think should be expected with such large lumber. Thibault seeded and hayed these areas. I'm not sure if the other companies could have done a better job, but I'm happy to have paid $1480 rather than the $2600/2800 estimates.

Tom is an honest, hardworking, stand-up guy. He arrived when he said he would with his tractor and chipper, got right to work, and did exactly what I instructed. I was impressed with he and his partner's ability to drop a large tree in an EXACT location. I felt very confident having him dropping trees close to my house and power lines. Very flexible as well - I started out having him limb and chip everything, but when it looked like we weren't going to get through all the trees, Tom was willing to adjust and only drop the trees, and cut them into logs in-place (which made things move a lot faster). He took the time to clean up after he was done (sweep the driveway, etc.). Nice guy and easy to work with as well. I would recommend him, and will likely use him again in the future. The only criticism I have is that he's a bit pricey, and he charges by and quot;the dayand quot;. Not sure if that is 8 hours or what, but I would prefer to pay by the hour. Still, I'm giving him an 'A' since he does great work.

Tom was a true professional. I asked him and he explained where and how he gained his expertise and he went to work. After setting up his equipment and making sure the site was safe, Tom dropped the tree exactly where we wanted it. It was a quick and easy job for him, but it was just what i needed. I plan to hire him again for the back yard.
