"Eric and his crew are knowledgeable, prompt, courteous, reliable, and hard-working. Eric listened to my requests, offered helpful guidance, and did a great job. He excavated a trench through a difficult, rocky area; installed electrical conduit; and removed a section of concrete pad for a renovation project. Highly recommend!"

"Northern basements was able to fit us in quickly, pulled our crooked cement wall back in-place and sealed the wall to prevent future leaks.  The work was timely, communication was friendly and detailed, and price was as to be expected for the large amount of work that needed to be done.  We are very pleased with the whole process as well as the results.

"Mike was able to fit me in the same day for an estimate which surprised me because I'm sure a lot of people are needing his services with all the rain lately but he was in the area that day and came by. Although the company is a nation wide chain, its a franchise and a small business. He is an honest Vermonter with Vermont values which I appreciate. He gave me options but didn't try to talk me into something I couldn't afford and is doing the work within two weeks which I was also happy about being a very busy time for this type of thing."

"We can't say enough good things about working with K. Bellavance Land Works & Hauling. Kyle was prompt and professional in answering our email request for a consultation, and listened carefully to our desired project plan. Once the project was defined, Kyle, and his project lead, Gene, quickly provided a schedule and detailed estimate in order for us to make our final decisions. Bellavance's very talented crew built beautiful dry-laid stone walls, installed a large garden area, granite steps, and large stepping stone walkways. Bellavance Land Works came to work when they said they would, worked hard, and completed this large project in a timely fashion at a fair price. Unlike many businesses, they didn't "disappear" to work at other sites in the midst of our project. They worked easily and cooperatively with Winterwood Post and Beam on a pergola installation that completed our project. Their work exceeded our expectations, and we could not be happier with the result. We will call Kyle in the future with any project work needed. We highly recommend Bellavance Land Works & Hauling."

Storm Drain Installation questions, answered by experts

The average cost to install a door is around $1,100, but you could pay anywhere from $150 for a hollow-core interior door installation up to $2,000 or a high-end exterior door installation. There are a few cost factors to consider to get an accurate price, including whether your wall opening exists, the type of door, the quality and security of the door, whether you need to replace the frame, and the door size. You can expect to pay $150 to $700 for a standard 36-by-80-inch door and between $400 and $1,600 for an 80-by-48-inch door.

Most homeowners can expect to pay between $186 and $680, with the cost of installing storm doors averaging $432, including both materials and installation. Labor costs range from $75 to $400, depending on the complexity of the job; however, paying for a professional helps save you time and ensures proper installation. If you go the DIY route, you could spend anywhere from $250 to $1,000 for just the labor kit, which includes the door and hardware. You’ll also need to budget for tools, like a power drill and level, if you don’t already have them.

A screen door needs at least two hinges, though most have three or four hinges. The amount of hinges depends on the weight and size of the door. The heavier your door, the more hinges it will need for support. Exterior doors, which are sturdier than interior doors, have the most hinges.

Some storm doors might need two closers, depending on the weather conditions in the area. For example, if it’s particularly windy where you live, installing two storm door closers (instead of one) can prevent your door from slamming shut when it’s propped open. You can place one at the top of your door and another at the bottom.

Yes, professional installers use weather-resistant materials to protect the dish and cabling from environmental damage.
