"He and his team did the job well, in a timely fashion. They were easy to work with too. We recommend him for any Job with these services; sandblasting or dry ice blasting. The price was reasonable too; for the services rendered they were on par with their competition and looking at the end product better quality the others we saw. Well worth the price."

"The weather this summer was challenging with rain and then heat ,but Cully managed to make good time on the project once we were able to begin. He was responsive and did some extra things that he did not need to do per the contract we signed, which was nice.He was very neat and performed a complete cleanup essentially daily. He was respectful of the property and took time to minimize any impact on things like plants, shrubs, etc. Very happy with the service. Very competitive estimate. Uses top quality products, from a local, small business retailer, not big box store paints and stains."

Small jobs welcome

"First of all, I tried to get good pictures to show how well they did, but our house is a deep(ish) red color so maybe it's hard to tell. We had a lot of black something (Mold?) growing on our siding and we wanted it off. It looked bad and my husband said it's bad for the paint so we hired No Grit to pressure wash the house based on a recommendation from a friend. I was thrilled to find out they were available to do this so late in the year; their customer service is excellent! Roy is very friendly and professional; showed up when he said he would, it took right about the amount of time he estimated, then he picked his stuff up, said "Thanks!", and left. LOVE the outcome! All the black stuff is gone! Our home looks so CLEAN Thank you!"

Sandblasting Services questions, answered by experts

Sand is a common sublayer for hardscape features like driveways, paver patios, and more. Most projects that involve sand require a 1-inch layer to promote evenness, drainage, and weight distribution. For further drainage, most projects have a 6-inch minimum layer of gravel beneath the sand.

Costs depend on paint type, surface condition, labor, and required prep work for repainting.

Regular sealing and repainting help maintain the restored surface’s durability.

Most projects take 1-3 days, depending on the surface area and complexity.

Sanding and pressure washing serve different purposes in deck maintenance, so one is not necessarily better than the other. Pressure washing is ideal for annual cleaning to remove dirt, grime, mold, and mildew. Sanding is a deeper restoration method used to smooth rough surfaces, remove an old finish, and prepare the wood for a new coat of stain or paint. The ideal process for refinishing a deck is to first clean it (with a power washer), then sand it, and finally apply the new stain or finish. While cleaning should be done annually, sanding and staining are typically needed only every one to three years.
