What mood do you want to create? Chromotherapy has been used in ancient civilizations and is still used as a holistic or alternative treatment to affect mood. While "blood" red was considered a "fright or flight" evoking color or symbol of power, home in a thatched shelter of green palm fronds and having some protection from the lush green background vegetation, there was generally peace and relaxation. Colors affect the mood of the people in the room, but they also need to reflect the style and personality of the people that reside there and are truly a personal choice. Whether straight painting or special decorative projects, I can create an environment of energy or relaxation for the ways you view your world.

A floating concrete slab is considered a footing since it distributes the weight of the structure to the soil, but not all concrete slabs are considered footings. For example, a T-shaped slab includes separate footings below the slab that support the concrete above and push the load further down into the ground. Painting concrete increases the risk that moisture will get trapped beneath the top layer of paint, which wears concrete down over time. So long as you know how to prep concrete for staining, you'll maintain its strength after you finish your project.
