We walked the yard to show him what I needed. He counted stumps (12) and calculated cost. He gave me a cost the that made me smile and then said he could do it right then-bigger smile. "I did not request an estimate from Josue Tree Services (JTS) because they are in Newport News & I thought I'd get a quicker response from providers on the Tidewater side. Angi notified me that JTS was interested in the job, so I reached out. I am so glad I did. He was very accommodating, & was willing to come provide an estimate after I got off work at 5:00pm. The fact that he was willing to deal with tunnel traffic impressed me. He was very personable, and willing to do the job for a reasonable amount. Initially I just wanted a tall gumball tree cut from the front yard, & a large mulberry tree out of the backyard that could only be accessed by a small gate. I ended up asking him to clear an area at the back of my property that was overgrown & needed several small trees removed. He was more than willing. He was able to schedule me for the same week.
