"first off I must say that I am a little picky when it comes to exposed wires and exposed devices on my walls and windows, which makes me not the easiest of clients.  1st security was more than willing to accommodate my concerns on any wires being exposed and sensor devices that could be exposed.  The installer came right on time, but due to my concerns for how I wanted the system installed it took a little longer than expected.  He did a great job and took all the time we needed to explain how the system worked and made sure that our experience was a good one.
For years I had an ADT system in our old house, they did an Ok job, but I did not get that local, "we will take care of you" feeling from them and you never knew who you would talk to if you called.  Yes I have a national number with guardian, which is the company that 1st security works with, but I know that I can always call 1st Securtiy directly and get any concerns or answers I need addressed.
I had my first incident with an alarm going off, just the other day and the Guardian central called all the right people and the response time was very quick.  I thought there follow up was superior to the way ADT followed up after an alarm incident so that was a surprise and a plus.  
The control panel made by GE could have a larger area to enter your code, and I will be adding a 2nd control panel to the upstairs because the warning siren is in the control panel and if you are a sound sleeper you might not hear it from a distance.  Overall a great company to work with.

"It was not a smooth process, but most of the blame is not attributable to Frontpoint. First, there were some malfunctioning pieces of equipment that had to be returned and my home's windows do not support that type of alarms that were initially ordered. Not to panic! The customer service patiently walks you through the set up and when we discovered that there was going to be a need to return some of the hardware, they did so at no cost to me and made sure that it was sent via 2 day Fedex. They also upgraded my window alarms at no cost. If you live in Montgomery County, be advised that there is additional paperwork there needs to be filled out and filed (along with $30) with the County to get a permit. I am still waiting on that permit so my Frontpoint system is technically not activated. That is extremely frustrating and something Frontpoint should work on with the County to streamline."
