"I have been dealing with two leaks in my house one from the roof and one from the HVAC system. The insurance company is dragging their feet. It started in November 20 24. It is now February 2025 and it’s still not fixed. Pro Clean has been a godsent if it was not for Pro Clean. I think I would’ve went crazy. They have stood beside me the whole time they have advocated for me with the insurance company and as a single woman they have helped me with contractors that I could trust if you need anything as far as mold, leaks anything like that you need to call this guy the owner Peter is the sweetest man you will ever meet. I cannot praise this company enough if you want me to give them a score from 1 to 10 it would be 1,000,000,000. If you’re a single lady and you need some stuff done in your house I guarantee you these guys are the best."

Hello,\nMy name is Fausta Reyes. I have worked for many years with COA, a company that cleans Mary Washington associated buildings. I have also worked with other cleaning companies. I have about 4–5 years of experience working as a housekeeper/janitor. I live in Spotsylvania, but I am able to travel to nearby counties. Travel is not a problem, as I can commute within a 30–40 mile radius.\n\nThe skills I have learned include deep cleaning, sanitation, mopping, vacuuming, dusting surfaces, and cleaning bathrooms and kitchens. I am also skilled in organization and laundry, including washing, drying, and folding. Additionally, I have strong time management skills and basic maintenance knowledge.\n\nI believe in working hard, staying organized, and paying attention to detail. Sonic Cleaning questions, answered by experts

For the best chemicals to clean a metal roof, stick to gentle detergents such as dish soap, laundry detergent, or car-wash soap mixed in a diluted solution of ¼ cup of soap to 1 gallon of water. These mild cleansers are safe for most roof finishes but are still strong enough to remove remaining dirt particles. Chemicals like bleach or acids can damage your roof, poison landscaping and grass, and pose a hazard to you and your family. If your roof is very dirty or you think it requires chemical cleaning, call a roof cleaning professional.

Soft washing chemicals typically consist of a mix of sodium hypochlorite (or a chemical component of bleach) and water. While sodium hypochlorite and bleach are often thought to be the same thing, there is one small but key difference between the two: sodium hypochlorite comes in powdered rather than liquid form, which means that it’s also more concentrated and more effective from less product overall.

Moss grows in dark areas of roofs, including in corners and gutters. If left alone, it can grow under roofing and cause permanent damage. Here’s how to remove moss from metal roofs

  • Soak the moss to soften it

  • Scrub it away with a soft-bristled brush, or pick it off with your hands (be sure to wear gloves)

  • Use a moss remover that’s compatible with metal roofing, following the manufacturer’s directions

  • Remove dead moss and rinse the roof thoroughly

  • Prevent future moss growth by trimming branches, cleaning gutters, and attaching zinc strips to moss-prone areas

Vinegar, bleach, chlorine, barley straw, and a bevy of dedicated algaecides can kill algae, which is the easy part. Preventing algae from returning can be a struggle for some homeowners, but keeping the patio well-maintained and clean is a good first step.

Regular cleaning, inspecting for peeling or rust, and reapplying coatings every 8-12 years helps maintain durability.
