"The work was actually performed for my mother at her home.  She needed an electrician and had no idea who to call.  I checked Angie's List and this company came very well recommended with several positive reports.  I gave the name and number of the company to my mother on 6/7/11.  On 6/8/11, she called them to obtain an appt. for an estimate and much to our surprise, they were able to come out that very afternoon to give her an estimate.  That afternoon, the individual called ahead of time to say a job had ended sooner than expected and that he could come sooner than the pre-arranged appt. time if that would suit my mother.  It did and given he came early - he was able to go ahead and perform much of the work she needed done. There was only one item that he was not able to do (install a new programmable thermostat) as he said the company did not do that particular task.

All in all a very positive experience.  The individual was very professional and had all of the necessary tools and equipment with him to perform the repairs she needed that very day.  My mother was impressed with the gentleman as he took it upon himself to wash his hands and dry them after working outside on the lights before working on the light over the kitchen sink so as to not leave any dirty fingerprints on the fixture.  My mother was very pleased with the work and felt the price was appropriate given the person was a certified electrician.  She had previously attempted to have these same repairs "fixed" by someone else who obviously didn't know what they were doing.  The person who tried to fix them was not a licensed electrician, only a "handyman" and I did not want her going that route again.  Thus I suggested Angie's List as a way to find a recommended company to use.  My mother stated she will definitely be using them again for any electrical needs and will recommend them to friends who need service as well.  In fact, they will be returning in the future to install the post light once she has purchased one. "
