Super nice guy. Very knowledgeable. Highly recommended.

First of all, Greg Emert answered the phone on January 2nd (New Years Day observed holiday). He was honest about his workload and called back later in the day when he couldn't make it. He showed up early today as promised, and quickly isolated and repaired the problem. He charged me a fair price and didn't try to make it into a large project. Very decent guy, very professional. I'd hire him again.

For starters, the price was pretty steep (the high end for a new wall outlet installation is usually around $220.00).  But in all fairness, Greg and Gary advised me that the cost would be higher than most, and made sure I was okay with the estimate.  I usually negotiate a bit for lower costs, but let it go this time, because this father-son team has done other jobs for me and they always do such excellent work.  They take their time to get it right,  are very courteous and friendly, and never leave a mess.  In fact, they were kind enough to repair a ceiling panel in the basement that the electricians involved in my bathroom remodel had simply left hanging, along with fixing the door to the breaker box which was left almost falling off by the other crew.  So, yes, for this kind of "family-friendly" service I will gladly pay a bit more, because it's worth it.  I highly recommend this company.

We had the pleasure of having our electrical work done by Emert’s Electric Co. This is a father/son team, Gary and Greg. They took on the tough job of replacing the old knob and tube wiring in our home. Other electricians who took a look at the project quickly decided they were not up to the challenge.   This was never a question with Emert’s Electric Co. The professionalism they demonstrated gave us confidence throughout the project. Their abilities are impressive. We feel very fortunate to have had Emert’s Electric Co. put in our new electrical system.

I had an outstanding experience with them. They are trustworthy and very professional. They are thorough, precise, clean and courteous. I was absolutely impressed. The pricing was competitive. I would use them again and would not look anywhere else.

The job they did was good but they were supposed to follow up and never did.

***As of 6/29/12: After Angie's List contacted the company on my behalf, they came back out and completed the work that needed to be done. There was no charge for the return visit.***
