I offer land clearing and excavation. I am currently a small business owner with a 10 ton excavator and dozer that I use to do tree removal or grading work done. I also do small construction work/DIY projects, and any small handyman projects. I am very affordable and I’m willing to work with any customer.
"They have not finished their work yet, but they did show up when they were supposed to, and did good work In a timely fashion . I was impressed that the estimate was given and they came that same evening to start the job which I very much appreciated since we had a tree down in our neighbors s yard"
"very pleased with the work these guys did, so impressed I'm having them back in the next few months to take down another tree. They worked in the rain so the job could be done the same day. I will definitely tell others about your family tree service !"
"I highly recommend Elements Landscaping for all the reasons mentioned below. Thad and Camille are great people, I trust them, they are doing exceptional work (still in progress), and I would hire them over and over again. Even my neighbors who have been watching them work have vowed to use them and recommend them to others. Hiring Elements Landscaping is the best decision I have made in my journey to rehabilitate my grandparents property. I know they would be very pleased if they were still on this earth to see it. Reasons I recommend Elements Landscaping: 1.On-time to meet with me and provided a written quote within 24 hours. - I met with two other companies; one was on time to meet with me but never followed up with an estimate, the other showed up late only to give me a price that was $1K higher than Elements. 2.Very knowledgeable about the trees and shrubbery at the property. - This was in February, so everything looked dead to me. - Thad told me which shrubs/trees may still be alive and would start to bloom in spring and which ones were totally dead. - This was a great help in making decisions as to what would get removed and what would stay, which ultimately decided the cost. 3.Listened and asked questions about my end goal, what I was trying to achieve with the landscaping, and how I was going to use the space. - By talking through it, I ended up changing a few things I thought I wanted; such as not removing brush that would have exposed the neighbors yard and their collection of treasures (or trash, depending on your perspective). 4.Excellent communication during the entire process. - I currently live a few states away and wanted to schedule the work when I would be in town (two months later). - Camille responded timely to every email I sent, answered all of my questions, and confirmed the date and time that they would start. 5.Arrived exactly when they said they would and brought the right equipment to do the job: excavator, lift, chain saws, blowers, dump trailer, and man/woman power. 6.Worked long days and hit it hard. They cleaned up the brush and debris along the way, so it was not dangerous. 7.Respectful of neighboring properties. - The massive trees straddled the neighboring properties which were very close in proximity. One neighbor had a metal fence that one of the trees had actually grown through. - They talked to the neighbors, introduced themselves, explained what they needed to do, and asked them if it was permissible to be on their property when needed. 8.Provided extra services I was not expecting and greatly appreciated. - Removed and discarded an old metal (in-ground) basketball hoop, many items that a neighbor had disposed of in the brush (toilets, lawnmower), and two large dog houses."
"Very professional. Did what they said they were going to do. Good equipment. Knew how to use it. No wasted time or effort. Used appropriate safety precautions. Highly skilled at tough large tree removal."
While trees can grow in the curb strip between the sidewalk and the street, this placement often poses the problem of interfering with overhead power lines. It’s best to consult your local utility provider and tree planting service before transplanting a tree that might grow into power lines. Also, you should never work within 20 feet of a live power line to avoid the risk of electric shock. Tree branches should never touch nearby power lines, so it’s essential to ensure your tree isn’t in danger of growing too close to them.
Many gardeners charge an hourly rate for their services, and your total cost will depend on the amount of services and the experience of the gardener. Gardeners with basic experience charge between $20 and $30 per hour, while a more experienced gardener can charge as much as $60 to $88 per hour.
The cost of lawn mowing is about $125, which you might need on a weekly or biweekly basis. However, the cost of soil testing averages about $1,450, which should only be done every three to five years.
There are four common ways to prune a tree correctly: crown thinning, crown reduction, crown raising, and crown cleaning. The method you choose depends on the purpose of pruning. However, making the correct cuts is a vital part of the process, regardless of your method. Pruning incorrectly can damage or even kill the tree. So, you may want to hire a professional tree-trimming company to tackle the task.
If you aren’t sure what you’re doing, be very careful when cutting mature tree roots (roots larger than 2 inches). Root cutting and pruning can affect both a tree’s stability and its ability to nourish itself. Issues during root cutting can result in damage or injury.
It’s recommended you call in a pro to help, unless it’s a very small tree and you aren’t worried about the prospect of losing the tree.
The safest way to cut down a tree is to make sure you’re completely prepared and have done all the necessary safety checks, including double-checking your equipment is in good working order, you have plenty of clearance to fell the tree, you’re wearing all the safety gear, and you have a partner to help you (who should also be wearing safety gear).
