Small jobs welcome

I offer land clearing and excavation. I am currently a small business owner with a 10 ton excavator and dozer that I use to do tree removal or grading work done. I also do small construction work/DIY projects, and any small handyman projects. I am very affordable and I’m willing to work with any customer.

"Great customer service! They called same day as I listed in HomeAdvisor to come give a quote, even called to say they were running late because of rain! Once we decided to use them they were out the very next day to do the work. Had a 50+ft pine tree cut and removed to small stump and a smaller maple tree removed and stump ground. They finished everything the same day except for the stump grind which they came back the very next morning to do. The pine was behind our fence in a farmers field and they were very meticulous about cleaning up all the debris so the farmer would not have any issues. Farmer even had them fell a tree for him. I highly recommend this company. Guys were very friendly and Amber was very pleasant to work with and very quick at returning any emails/phone calls."

Tree Service questions, answered by experts

The best pro to hire for spraying trees is a tree maintenance specialist. These pros are well-versed in selecting the right spray treatment and applying it properly to ensure there’s no collateral damage to the tree or surrounding landscape. Many tree maintenance services employ certified arborists, but for these routine visits, the extra investment usually isn’t necessary.

Peach trees don’t tend to live as long as other types of trees and crops. They tend to last only about 12 years, and you shouldn’t expect to see a full peach harvest each of those years, either. Young peach trees need a few years to get established before they produce fruit, but you should have plenty of peaches for your pies and cobblers during their mature years, around years four through eight.

It’s not always easy to tell when a tree is dying, although signs like dropping branches and brittle bark can sometimes offer clues. It can also be difficult to know whether a tree is dead or dormant, especially if it’s a deciduous tree. You’ll want to wait until a growth season to get a good idea of a tree’s health. When in doubt, contact an arborist for a consultation.

Yes, you can prune a palm tree with a chainsaw, but a chainsaw is overkill for a job like this. You risk damaging the tree if you make a bad cut. More commonly, you’ll need pruning shears or a serrated knife to trim a palm tree, or you can use a specialized pruning saw instead of a chainsaw.

Often, it’s the homeowner’s responsibility to handle the aftermath when a neighbor’s tree falls on their property. But if a tree has been obviously dead for a significant period of time and caused damage when it fell, a case can be made that the owner should have removed it, especially if the neighbor wrote you a letter about the tree or asked you to take it down. This can be grounds for a successful lawsuit in claims court and is a good reason to always pay attention to your trees and remove dead trees before they fall.
