I am a one person operation. Having been in the Green Industry for 39 years, I have come to the conclusion that the best way to take care of a client's needs is strictly hands on work. I will occasionally bring in day help. Payment is upon completion unless it is a large project then partial payment at start. I also install vegetable gardens using our own compost mix .

Dos Amigos provides full landscape services to homeowners and commercial customers. Many of our residential customers enjoy annual contracts where Dos Amigos takes care of their lawn/landscape needs for one easy monthly payment.

"Dos Amigos is a strong local business and has provided us with all of our lawn care services for the past 9 months. Mowing (excellent when on the grass, but mowed over set of matched hydrangeas and a complete bed of lavender around a mailbox-twice), blow (excellent), edging (very poor consistency), fertilization (excellent), weed prevention (average to poor, branch and debris removal (poor). Communication appeared to be strong, but there are many layers between the workers and the owner. These layers may explain the $1565 monthly fee they charged. Many salaries, but communication to the ones who actually do the work can sometimes not be as easily communicated, so the return on the fee, we found to be far from worth it. We could recommend them for large commercial projects, but not for homes, particularly homes with gardens in addition to lawns."

"I hired Jovel to build stairs, retaining walls and planters connecting my existing patio to a new patio that I also hired Jovel's company to build. The stairs, retaining wall and planters were completed in September. In October, I had a licensed inspector at my home for another project and he pointed out that the stairs Jovel had built did not meet code. The inspector stated that stairs must be of equal rise and the lower and upper stairs were not in acceptable range with the other two. He also stated that three or more stairs required a handrail and that the stairs were POOR construction. Jovel has refused to correct the issue or refund any money paid.
