"Yes,Roger Heating and Cooling did a excellent job.Not only did they install new heat pump and new furnace,.Men were courtesy and polite, showed respect for my home by wearing covers over their shoes. They explain the process of what they had to due. They answered any questions I had about installation. I had no idea that the process would be so smooth. I truly appreciate this company, from first day that representative came out. Too look at what need to be done to replace my systems. Thank them for email follow-up until day came to installation, and email after job was completed. It only took 4 hours for installation.I recommended this company too all my friends and family.Thank you so much too Roger Heating and Air.I would rate this company with 1,000 percent. Air Conditioning questions, answered by experts

The standard rule for return duct sizing is that the return vent should be the same size or larger than the supply vent. This will ensure balanced airflow in your home and reduce strain on your HVAC system.

A few drips here and there should not be cause for concern, but if your unit is leaking a large amount of water, then it’s advised that you stop using it until the problem is identified and a solution is determined. The more you use it during a leak, the more issues it will cause.

Most HVAC companies charge a flat service call fee of between $75 and $150, which includes traveling to your home and inspecting your system to find the underlying problem. Keep in mind that these prices only include diagnostics and the actual repairs will usually be billed separately. If you’re calling for routine service, the service call will be included in your inspection and tune-up, with the total sitting around $150. Your prices could be a little higher if you have a very large home with multiple condensers and air handlers, as inspections and servicing take longer.

No. Your furnace does not run your air conditioner. Both units use the same system of ductwork to move conditioned air throughout your home, but you can have a furnace without having an air conditioner and vice versa. Furnaces are only for heating your home. You can buy a system that does both, however, like a split system or a heat pump (yes, heat pumps cool, too).

You should know the main components of an air conditioner: the condenser coils, evaporator coils, drip pan, AC filter, ducts, and refrigerant. Each part plays a key role in the performance and safety of your AC system. When tracking the source of AC issues or odors, it helps to know where to look. Your outdoor unit houses your condenser coils, fan, and compressor. Your indoor unit houses your evaporator coils, drain lines, and filter, and it connects to your ductwork.
