"Erskine was recommended by a neighbor, so I am passing along the favor. I had several projects to be done, he did an exemplary job on all of them. He was easy to work with, knowledgeable, and most of all - he took pride in his work. I’m sure he is capable of doing anything needed, but for me he capped off my stair railing, enclosed pavers in a wood frame so they can no longer shift, power washed my deck and deck furniture, power washed my walkway then painted it, and made a new threshold for my front door. He offers a free estimate, I recommend you call him."

"The estimator was extremely professional and the quote was very detailed. When we have another painting requirement, CertaPro will be asked to provide another quote. Given the work quality of the company we hired, CertaPro will be more strongly considered the next time."

Small jobs welcome

"First of all the man explained every things involved to do the work . He was on time. It took two days to finish the job sand & paint. (due to wait for paint to dry). He always texted me when he was on his way . what impressed me about him was on time. End of each day, he cleaned up all dust & made sure no trash left behind. I was very impressed . I will certainly, recommend with out hesitation . He certainly earned the money. Note: I normally do not give 5 stars to any one. 4 stars is the best any one get. I was that impressed with his punctuality , character & work ethics."

"Sustainable Renewal Team – Interior Deep Clean I recently had an interior deep clean done by Sustainable Renewal Team, and I was extremely impressed with the results. The team was professional, punctual, and very thorough from start to finish. Every detail was addressed — from baseboards and hard-to-reach areas to surfaces that often get overlooked. What really stood out was their attention to cleanliness while using sustainable, eco-friendly practices. My home looked and smelled fresh without harsh chemical odors, which I truly appreciated. The space felt completely renewed once they were finished. If you’re looking for a reliable, detail-oriented cleaning service that delivers high-quality results, I highly recommend Sustainable Renewal Team for any interior deep cleaning needs."

Interior Painting questions, answered by experts

Yes, you can pressure wash epoxy floors, but you must take precautions to avoid damaging the surface. While most epoxy floors can be cleaned with a mop, you might choose to pressure wash if the floor is stained, has ground-in dirt, or is covered with mold or mildew. To do so safely, first soak any stains or dirty areas with a gentle cleanser. Use a lower pressure setting with a gentle nozzle, such as a green, white, or black tip, or a 45-degree angled tip. Keep the spray nozzle at least 18 inches away from the floor to protect the surface. Using a surface cleaner attachment or a rotary scrubber can also help prevent overspray. Be cautious if using a power washer that heats the water, as the combination of heat and pressure may be too powerful and could damage the epoxy coating.

Yes, WD-40 can be used to remove dried paint, including spray paint, from surfaces like metal because it acts as a solvent. To use this method, spray enough WD-40 to completely cover the paint and let it sit for five to ten minutes. Afterward, gently scrub the area with a cloth to remove the paint. Be aware that this method might leave behind a greasy film that can attract dirt.

Sandblasting is a common method for removing paint. It works great if the underlying material is tough. This is because you can then use more abrasive sandblast materials, making the paint removal process much faster and less expensive. If you plan on removing many layers of paint on smooth surfaces, you’ll need to be more careful about which materials you choose to use to sandblast.

Soot can be harder to remove compared to other types of stains given its acidic nature. It can also cause underlying paint to peel off during the cleaning process. If your soot issue is a result of smoke damage, it’s recommended you call a pro to help remove it versus doing it yourself.

Sanding surfaces, repairing damage, cleaning thoroughly, and using quality primers are all steps you can take for exterior home painting.
