"Angie's List turned up Robin's Cleaning Service as a possible contractor for carpet cleaning. We went with her since she's independent and relatively local (Gretna). She came today, worked hard for over two hours to clean our Master BR and closet, lower staircase and roughly 1/4 of the lower living area, and did a lovely, attentive and thorough job for $225. Very pleasant--does carpets and other cleaning, painting, landscaping, mowing and pressure washing between morning and evening school bus driving for Gretna public schools (all three levels). "David came out to do a gutter cleaning. Our house is surrounded by huge trees, and the amount of leaf fall we get is heavy. Our gutters are open - no cover system - and we hadn't had gutter cleaning all fall, including after Hurricane Sandy.
After a very personable conversation with David, he went up to the roof and did his work. There was a mess EVERYWHERE from all the leaves that had built up, many of which had decayed and turned into crumbling mud. Unlike other companies that have come out to clean our gutters, David went around and not only cleaned up everything he blew out of the gutters, but also blew the leaves off of our walkways, decks, and long driveways all the way down to the road.
He had the entire job done in less than an hour, and it looked great! We're considering hiring the company for additional lawn services and leaf removal. I couldn't be happier with the service we got.

"A two-man team worked very efficiently to remove each vent cover and vacuum inside the vent openings throughout the townhouse. One man removed the vent covers while the other man vacuumed inside the vent openings. No problems with how they worked but I think there are other companies who perform a more thorough cleaning of ductwork using other methods. This company did a superficial cleaning and worked very quickly. In and out within an hour.
