I had brick repaired or replace, inspection to chimney completed with extensive cleaning and replacement of additional parts. The price was discussed with a detailed explanation and work was proceeded same day with no delay. Covid precautions were taken into consideration with mask wearing by all. They cleaned up all debris before leaving. I was extremely satisfied with the cost and completion of work described. Very friendly and respectful staff. Would recommend them to anyone. As promised, Carmine called when he was 45 minutes away from our house so I had plenty of time to leave work and meet him.  He was friendly and extremely professional, even asking my permission before entering the house. He even asked me if he could call me "Steve", or would I prefer Mr. Carr. He and his worker Bill were clean and dressed nicely. They spread a blanket in front of the fireplace and cleaned up when they finished. They noticed a water stain on our living room ceiling and offered to check the flashing on the roof. They found a three inch hole and fixed it immediately, provided us with a 7 year warranty. Colonial was half the price of the other Chimney sweeps on Angie's List and it's hard for me to imagine anyone providing better service.

The only thing that was not to my satisfaction was that the person I spoke to originally about my needs included a smoke detector and alarms yet I should have gotten door and window. I spent more than I had planned even though I returned the smoke detector. I think the alarms are very good and easy to handle. I'm happy with them."

"They did a great job. They solved all the problems I had with the chimney and it’s been working perfectly ever since. They also fixed a problem on the roof around the chimney; they replaced the wood around the chimney with a material that would never rot, so they fixed it even better than it was before. It took them a couple of days to do the work. They took care of all the cleanup as well. We've been real happy with them."
