"Greenday Moving is my go-to vendor for EVERY one of my moves. This has been the 4th time I’ve used them and it was extra special as it was a move into my first condo as a new homeowner. I always appreciate the convenience, A1 customer Jose and Paulo were my movers this go around — they were very communcative, efficient, and got the job done for me in the midst of a hot afternoon. I always appreciate the moving team who makes moving less stressful for me and ensures all of my items make it safely. All of my things are secured and damage free. The rates include all of the supplies, the truck, and directly pays each person for the time they spend moving. No hidden fees and its all transparent which is why I will always stick with Greenday Moving! 10/10 recommend for anyone deciding to use a moving company."

"Terrance, Orlando, and Peyton helped me move, and did the work of 4 men instead of 3! I have extremely heavy furniture that was a tight fit up 3 flights of stairs, and they got it all in flawlessly! They even took apart a desk I really wanted to get it up to my office!!! Nothing but professionalism. Thereâ  s NO WAY me or my family could have done what these men did!! I would hire them again in a heartbeat!"

The best way to pack mirrors is to use specially padded cartons or boxes made for mirrors. Be sure to thoroughly wrap the fragile mirror in padded paper or bubble wrap before sliding it into its box. That way, there’s a protective barrier in between the mirror and the box. Then, fill in any gaps with crumpled paper or additional packing materials.

Depending on distance and individual scheduling needs, from a few days to a week.

The best way to transport plants when moving is to prep them properly, cover the soil, pack them tightly in boxes, and take extra precautions depending on state plant regulations, weather, and distance. You should be sure to fill in the gaps around your plants to minimize movement during transit and plan to unpack them shortly after arriving at your destination.

Start by removing any obstacles in the moving path, such as side tables, lamps, or other furniture. If your couch has legs, unscrew them. Measure the couch and the stairway to ensure you have enough room; if it seems unlikely, examine the shape and size of the couch and decide whether it might fit better up the stairway and through doorways on its side, held diagonally, or moved in an upright position.

Consider putting the sofa on a dolly to go up the stairs. It should be able to fit upright on a standard dolly with wheels. You’ll still need to lift the dolly—with the couch on it—up the stairs, but it will reduce the physical strain. The person holding the dolly should pull the couch up, while the helper should be on the other side, keeping the couch secure and steady.

If you don’t have a dolly, the person in front should lift the couch slightly higher than the person in the back to create more stability. The person in the back should also be the stronger mover, as most of the weight will be distributed there.

The size of the safe will determine the type of dolly that will work best for transporting your gun safe. You will need to ensure it is a heavy-duty appliance dolly made to move heavy items, such as appliances or pianos. Always check the weight of your safe beforehand so you can rent or buy the correct dolly that can withstand its weight.
