"ER Soulution responded to my on-line request within a few minutes and set up a time to evaluate my gutter issue the following day. My gutter, which was relatively new, was sagging and falling down from the roofline on the north side of my house. Emanuel climbed onto the roof, lifted a few shingles and took photos of the underlining gutter/roofing issues. It was rotting wood on my 66-year old house. He showed me the pictures, discussed options, and made arrangements to start the project. The project took 2 days and the end result was perfection. Emanuel (the owner) is professional, responsive, a hard worker, shows up exactly when he says he'll be there, and his pricing is absolutely fair. I highly recommend this young man! I am a stay at home mom of two kids. I have been working from home doing collections for businesses for about 7 years. My youngest is starting first grade so I have the opportunity to work more. My passions are cooking, working out, cleaning and organizing. I also clean an Airbnb for a family member. I have been doing that for a few years.\n\nI love to learn how to make about anything from scratch. I make a lot of food out of sourdough and anything fermented from kombucha to sauerkraut. Everything is better homemade. I love to make homemade oreos and other childhood favorites. I love to garden and play the piano. I always multitask but I also enjoy relaxing with my kids. My family is very important in my life. I'm willing to travel up to 15 miles from 84003.\n\nI love to work hard and efficiently. Loyalty and trust are the most important core values in my life.

Roof Cleaning questions, answered by experts

In most cases, it is best to leave icicles on your roof and allow them to melt naturally. You should only consider removing them if they are heavy enough to cause damage to your home or pose a risk to people below. Since removing icicles can be dangerous, it is recommended to hire a professional for the job if you have immediate concerns. To prevent the issue from recurring, you should address the underlying cause, such as improving your home's insulation or installing roof heating coils.

Generally, snow removal from a roof should occur once over six inches of snow accumulates, especially if you notice that ice dams have formed. Without ice dams, you can let the snow accumulation hit 12 inches before removing it. However, the amount of snow that is too much for your roof also depends on the sturdiness of your roof and the compactness of the snow. If your roof needs maintenance or has structural issues, it’s best not to let the snow accumulate too much for fear of collapsing.

Regular cleaning, promptly repairing minor issues, ensuring proper drainage, and using rust-resistant coatings help prevent recurring damage.

To prep for metal roof painting, have a roof inspection conducted to determine the condition. Complete any repairs required before you paint. Remove the old paint on your metal roof, if any, remove rust and mold with a wire brush, and power wash the surface. Once the roof is clean and dry, start with a primer get painting.

Yes, moss can be dangerous for your roof if left in place to grow without treatment. The moss soaks up and holds moisture. Having a constantly damp roof could lead to problems with rot for the parts of the roof that consist of wood. Additionally, a patch of thick moss may draw insects and birds, which could damage the roof. Thick moss could block the roof’s drainage system. Water then may back up after a rainstorm and cause further damage that could eventually lead to roof repair expenses or the cost of roof replacement.
