"I had chosen Chad and two other contractors from Angie's List to give me an estimate on my deck replacement. Chad's estimate was a little better than the other two plus he was the only one who included adding additional support since he believed the current supports were not sufficient. The original plan was to just replace the decking material and utilize the old support beams that appeared to be in good condition (all three contractors thought so). However, once the demolition began, the old beams were rotted and needed to be replaced. This is the part that impressed me most about Chad...he provided a very fair price to replace the support beams and redo the entire deck. He could have really increased the price at this point since the deck was now torn apart and we needed it put back together, but he didn't. He also listened well to any suggestions we had about the deck pattern. I would definitely use Chad again and recommend him to anyone."
