Small jobs welcome

"The crew came right on schedule. They were clean, thorough, answered any and all questions I had about my duct cleaning. It was a great experience. I will use this company again in the future!! Also I loved having my dryer vent cleaned, the owner even stopped in to check in with me. I feel like everyone I met went above and beyond. The price was exactly as discussed- there was no surprised as I’ve found with some other duct cleaners."

"It wasn't abundantly clear that a cleaning might not be sufficient before the appointment and a deep cleaning would be substantially more money. But the guy was friendly and fair when I got there."

"I am relatively new in town and didnâ t know of anyone in the area that cleaned houses. When I used Homeadvisor to help search for cleaning services, I found Clean-er Up, a cleaning service run by Janee. She was so quick in answering my inquiry, I think I received a call within a minute of my inquiry, and so willing to work within the timeframes that I needed help. Her business has cleaned my house - still under construction - twice now and Iâ ve been so pleased with their work! They show up promptly and by the time they leave, theyâ ve done everything that was expected for the amount of time allotted. Every space they cleaned was spic and span! Iâ m so thankful that I found Clean-er Up, thereâ s no way I could have kept up with the house while itâ s under construction. Janee is so pleasant and easy to work with which is just one more positive aspect to the business."

Sonic Cleaning questions, answered by experts

Removing snow from your roof can help prevent ice dams, but the best thing to do is address insulation issues in your attic. If you do decide to remove the snow manually, you should always use a roof rake rather than a shovel. You shouldn’t climb your snowy roof in any circumstance, and roof rake allows you to remove the snow from the ground or a ladder. For the best results, remove snow as soon as possible after it falls.

Roof raking helps clear snowfall from your roof and, in turn, you hope that this prevents ice dams. But can roof raking actually cause them? Generally, no, it cannot. But you should note that while, in some cases, you might successfully prevent ice dams from forming near the edge of your roof by keeping it cleared with a roof rake, they could still form higher up on the roof, where you are unable to reach. This may leave you wondering: Does roof raking prevent ice dams? While it is not a 100% guaranteed way to prevent them, it does help.

Vinegar will not damage your roof shingles. Using vinegar to wash your roof is an effective and popular cleaning method for asphalt shingles. You can buy white vinegar with varying concentrations of acetic acid. Typically, 5% is all you need for a good roof cleaning, but if you’ve got stubborn stains or moss you can go as high as 25%.

While it is possible to remove snow from your roof without a professional, we don’t recommend it. Accessing your roof can be a dangerous task; pair that with slippery ice and snow that can be heavy to move, and you have a very risky problem on your hands. This dangerous situation becomes more high-risk when there’s a snowstorm or your roof has a steep pitch. To ensure that everyone stays safe, be sure to call a roof snow removal specialist to complete this job with the proper tools and equipment.

No, you should not pressure wash or power wash roof shingles, including asphalt shingles. The high water pressure from these machines is too strong and can damage the shingles by forcing water underneath, loosening their adhesive, and causing them to fall off. A safer and better alternative is soft washing with a pump sprayer. To ensure the job is done safely without causing damage, it is best to hire a local roof cleaner.
