"Do It Right Landscaping came and did a wonderful job creating tiers of level ground to make my backyard space usable!! I had a big hill that was too steep to do anything with and I wanted more usable space. The retaining walls they built are so sturdy and well done!! They did Astro Turf on my middle level which I love (no mowing). They planted shrubs and a couple trees for me too with ground cover to keep the weeds away and rocks to make it all look so beautiful! Do It Right was incredible to work with and left the job sight cleaned up and looking nice after finishing the project!! I highly recommend this company for any yard landscaping project you need done!!"

"N&V came over to do some work on my yard, after meeting Trae, they come over and did some landscaping around my property. I had a 20x20 section where he laid sod for me. He also trimmed a taller tree I had as well as some bushes and smaller trees. He also ripped out some old pavers and installed new grass there as well. The crew was there on time and working, making efficient work of all the tasks. Very polite and professional. Highly recommend and very affordable for the work performed."

Dirt Hauling FAQs, answered by experts

Costs depend on item size, accessibility, and additional services like disconnection or recycling.

Focus on decluttering when downsizing to move cross-country. Selling, donating, or recycling unwanted items early in your moving process is key to your success. If you are on the fence about some items, consider storage options, or you can ship these items separately to lessen your load.

There are several small, inexpensive upgrades you can make to upgrade your basement. Although you still need to adhere to building codes and obtain permits when necessary, you can complete small but mighty tasks like painting the masonry walls and installing entertainment devices to make the space more usable.

Whether you should demolish your garage or renovate it depends on your needs and the condition of the garage. You might want to build a new garage if yours is too small or in bad shape. However, if your existing garage is simply unsightly, outdated, or needs renovations, a garage remodel is a smart answer. Code changes can require you to do repairs, so talk with your contractor for a personalized bid.

When considering how to dispose of other appliances, a landfill is also usually not an option. The biggest difference is that electrical appliances like refrigerators, washing machines, or dishwashers aren’t as easy to transport as a portable microwave. Some local councils offer bulky uplift services (although a fee may apply), scrap metal recyclers might pick yours up, trade-in options on big items are more common, and some utility companies offer incentivized recycling programs.
