We provide the best chimney sweep and chimney cleaning on the market. Our chimney cleaning system is designed to give your chimney flue the best cleaning possible. We also offer dryer vent cleaning as well.

"All seemed well- Nate showed up when he said he would. Seemed knowledgeable and was professional. He told us what he thought would help make our stove more efficient. Told us to expect to see a bid in the next 2 days or so. Then charged us $75. First red flag. $75 for a bid?? The reason we called him was to look at our blower. He DID NOT EVEN TOUCH IT (second red flag) but told us it needed replaced and was a manufacturer defect. We paid him and then never heard from him again. He never sent a bid and won’t answer or return any calls or texts. Don’t waste your time, or money!"

Yes, it can be worth installing a gas fireplace, depending on your home heating needs. The cost to install a gas fireplace can be much lower than the cost to install a comparable wood-burning fireplace. The convenience of starting a fire with the flip of a switch and turning it off just as quickly makes a gas fireplace a big time saver over starting and maintaining a wood-fueled fire. A gas fireplace also does not require ash cleanup or frequent chimney cleaning to remove creosote and other buildup that can lead to chimney fires. Gas fireplaces burn and heat much more cleanly than wood fireplaces.

The short answer is yes, but the longer answer is more complex. Unless the fireplace is ventless by design, you’ll need some type of exhaust pipe system to safely send fumes and other harmful byproducts out of the house. Even then, ventless fireplaces are not always permitted because they do keep the byproducts inside of your house. Ventless fireplaces are safest when installed in spaces that are themselves well-ventilated, like large rooms with lots of windows.

A 40-pound bag of wood pellets can provide a solid 24 hours or so of burn time, though the exact length may vary. If you’re using your pellet stove as an exclusive heat source during the winter, you’ll need an estimated 100 to 150 of those 40-pound bags, depending on how hot you like to keep your home, its size, the climate, and other factors.

A chimney cleaning brick or log can help loosen creosote between professional chimney cleaning appointments. Although they can help keep your chimney cleaner, they are not a substitute for chimney sweeping and are not meant to be used regularly.
