"we hired them to remodel. They did an amazing job. We later had them build our new dream home. I couldn't have asked for a better builder. Great work and he had great ideas. Our house became a home because of all his added touches . I highly recommend them."

"We connected on the net , they responded quickly. We decided on a time for the next day. They were on time, ( something unheard of here in St George) got the job done in NO time. I could not be happier or pleased with their ability and knowledge as to how the concrete needed to be opened up without damaging any water lines beneath it. I am a happy camper and would recommend this company totally."

"The contracted the work off to a third party. Jon took longer than expected. The windows was installed pretty good from the looks. Communication could have been better with knowing the job will take longer and what types of trims I wanted for the windows. As the contractor that was hired for this job by this company. Did a good job with putting up decent trim. As for the new windows they look great. I purchased the myself and hired sentri homes to install them. I will need to have a my siding on my house redone to be closer to the new windows so the gaps are not so obvious. That was not expected at first. But from old storm windows and not knowing how they were put in originally. There was some unknown things that was learned from the job being completed. I will have the siding of the house slightly done to match really good for what I wanted later on. My only concern is better communication with sentri homes. Overall they were great when I did talk to them."

"We're extremely happy with the apartment built into our unfinished basement. Kami and Carlos have worked in the industry for years, but are finally starting out on their own. They know so many specialists and are great at coordinating everything you need; plumbers, electricians, framers, drywallers, and more. Their prices are comparable to less capable builders, and they're very good and keeping in touch about pricing and make sure to get your input before buying product or confirming any workers. They let me bring in my own design choices and a few pieces we wanted to use from a previous update like the sinks, cabinets, and some tile, and even worked with us on price by letting us do some of our own painting. If there were one thing that would have improved the project it would have been a clear design plan with blueprints that all the crew could work from together, but we were flexible and were able to be on-site and review every step of the build and make changes as they came up. I understand that updating and changing blueprints and getting approval of each change would extend deadlines by days, which is why our job was done in record time, and that was more important to us than the blueprints. We weren't micro-managers, and were fine to let Kami and Carlos run their crews and only call us in if there were any questions or decisions to be made."

House Leveling questions, answered by experts

Generally speaking, push piers—or steel piers—are the best option for underpinning, as they reach down to solid bedrock to find support for your foundation rather than relying on soil, which could be subject to the same issues as the soil directly below your foundation. However, the best underpinning method for your home depends on your location, how far down the bedrock is, and the type of soil in your area. Helical piers are usually the best option for sandy soil or in areas where the bedrock is too deep to use steel piers.

Mudjacking typically takes 24 to 72 hours (one to three days) to dry and cure completely before you can resume normal use. The total drying time can vary depending on the size of the project. Because the slurry mixture contains cement, it needs to harden fully to prevent the concrete slab from shifting under added weight. You should avoid walking on the concrete or placing heavy items like furniture or vehicles on the surface until it has fully set. Your concrete contractor can provide a precise timeline. As a point of comparison, if you opt for polyjacking, the polyurethane foam can dry in minutes, but it's recommended to wait about an hour before use.

The average cost for mudjacking is around $1,200, though prices can range from $300 to $3,400. On a per-square-foot basis, you can expect to pay between $3 and $8, with an average of about $5 per square foot. The final cost depends on several factors, including the square footage of the concrete, the type of slab, its accessibility, whether it is load-bearing, and the type of material used to lift it. Generally, lifting a driveway, small patio, or sidewalk is less expensive than lifting a slab foundation or garage floor.

The method involves lifting settled concrete using pressurized cement slurry via drilled holes. This solves uneven surfaces and prevents further settling.

A good slump height really depends on the project, but there is a use for nearly all slump levels. For example, low slumps are best in projects that require structure, such as curbs and roads. High slumps often require additional reinforcement, but they flow more freely into hard-to-reach spaces.
