"Guillermo and his team did a great job staining our fence. They were timely and he took the time answering all my questions. Sent pictures and videos of his past work for us to view prior to signing the bid."

"Billy and his crew did an incredible job. I needed help painting over an extremely dark color - I was worried about the white not being able to cover the dark color. The crew had to do three coats, but it looks amazing and you would never know the walls use to be very dark. I am very happy with the work they did! Thank you!"

"I was worried about hiring an outside company to paint and to pay 1/2 upfront. JOSE CHAVEZ assured me he was trustworthy.we shook hands. At the end of the job we hugged. He gave me an excellent job. He was careful nothing was ruined. His crew did more than what was required. I will hire Jose Chavez next time."

"A larger general contractor who is neighbor had recommended town posters to us. We have hired Town painters 3 times in the last 12 months. Hugo and his team do a fantastic job, we have him coming back again in the near future. Exterior & interior painting, concrete sealing / coating, light repairs and associations with other contractors help make Town Painters a great partner and superior contractor. Quality Paint work ! Five star recommendation !"

Deck Staining questions, answered by experts

You may be wondering: can you paint cement? Fortunately, the answer is yes.

To change the color of your cinder blocks, you have two options. You can either paint them or stain them. Either way, you'll be able to choose from a wide range of color options. Some popular colors for cinder block painting include off-white shades and gray tones, which add a modern spin to the traditional gray blocks.

The best exterior paint for the job of painting your front porch depends on the material you’ll be painting. Acrylic paint is often recommended for a wooden porch as it’s durable and easy to apply. If your porch is made of concrete, you’ll need to find a formula suited to that material.

When choosing between deck stain or paint, knowing what will last longer is important. Deck paint lasts longer than deck stain. With deck paint, you can get up to 10 years of coverage before you need to reapply. With deck stain, that time is significantly shorter at two to three years

Opt for an interior wood stain that is rated for your type of wood. Consider your personal style preferences as well as the overall use of the room when choosing a color. Remember, the color you see at the store may look different on your actual floors once applied. This is why if you have the chance, it’s helpful to test a few options on a scrap piece of wood in the room first. Once you narrow it down, you can test a small patch on an inconspicuous area in the room to see it on the actual floors.

Yes, you can and should paint or stain pressure-treated wood, as this helps prevent the surface from cracking. However, it is crucial to wait for the wood to dry out completely from the chemical treatment process before applying a finish. If the wood is still wet, the paint will not adhere properly. The drying time can range from weeks to six months. To test if the wood is ready, drip some water onto a board. If the water is absorbed, the wood is dry enough for painting or staining. If the water beads up on the surface, it needs more time to dry. You can build with the wood while it's still wet, but you must wait for it to dry before painting.
