"Beware of shipping issues with this company. Ordered an ice maker installation kit on 10/10/25. Shipping was due no later than 10/20 according to company and FedEx tracking. FedEx tracking showed the package at their facility for 8 days without moving beginning on 10/15. Called FedEx 3 times. Each time they said they cannot find package and I have to contact shipper. Shipper has to make a claim, they will not mark it as lost. Called Appliance Parts Pros twice. Each time they say FedEx has to mark package lost before they will do anything. They also state they have to wait 14 days from them before doing anything because of their contract with FedEx. I don't care about their contract, I want what was ordered and paid for. Just going in circles with them and FedEX. If they shipped after 14 days it would be 22 days from that point, 32 days from the date of order if they shipped it that day. There was a deadline for installing this part before tenants arrive. They did not care, would not m"

"Our specific Plumber was Brent Young and hands down he is the best Plumber we have ever had. And after 30 years of home ownership we have had to use a lot. From the beginning there was no high pressure sales. He presented the facts so I could make a smart decision and the pricing was very fair (I shopped around a lot beforehand). "You should probably add 4-6 weeks to the expected delivery date if you expect to need the "enclosed" hardware. I received the blinds in the estimated time, but it came without the required hardware. I have made 4 calls (at least) over several weeks, but the hardware is nowhere in site. It is clear that SelectBlinds.com is a marketing company only has outsourced all production and fulfillment to third parties and evidently has a difficult time coordinating these type of customer service issue. Extremely frustrating that my blinds have been sitting in the floor for over a month and all I need is a few screws. Happy to go to Home Depot to get the screws, but SelectBlinds can't even tell me what sizes I need."

AC leaks are common, and an HVAC pro can usually fix them. You may be able to resolve some leaks on your own, but a professional HVAC technician should handle most AC leak repair. You should clean your air conditioner at least once per year, but you may need to clean your whole HVAC system (including the air ducts) more often. You may never need an AC recharge if there are no leaks. However, if your AC unit has a leak that cannot be patched appropriately, you’ll need an AC recharge every time the freon level drops low enough that it disrupts your system—this could be once every two to three years. It all depends on the size and frequency of the leak.

Signs that your air conditioner capacitor is malfunctioning include a smell or smoke coming from the unit, a humming or banging noise when it starts, the system shutting off randomly, higher energy bills, and no cold air blowing out of the unit. Additionally, if your capacitor is bad, the air conditioner may not turn on at all.
