"Our installer was excellent. Had it done in 5 1/2 hours. Just had it done yesterday, so have not tried out the shower yet, but so far, it looks very great. Pray every thing works with the shower. Again, loved our installer. We gave half down, and paid the rest when the job was done."

"Excellent. Matt & Mason did a fantastic job. They replaced 8 windows & installed vinyl siding around the whole house. They are very knowledgeable. The quality of the products they recommended were top of the line for what we could afford. They cleaned up all around the house so you really didn't know they were here (except for looking at the house & the job they did). You could see they took pride in their work. I will have another project in the near future & they will be 1st on my list."

Egress Windows questions, answered by experts

You install a window well 8 to 12 inches deeper than the base of the window sill. After filling the well with drainage rock, the well should sit 3 inches below the bottom of the window. The top of the window well should also be at least 3 inches higher than the surface-grade ground. The window well should be about 6 inches wider than the window opening.

Installing a window well costs anywhere from $500 to $1,500 or more. Adding an egress window and well runs about $3,900 on average. Adding a window well cover to the project can add $200 to $700. A well cover helps protect your egress windows from weather damage and keeps them clear of dirt, debris, and wildlife.

Depending on size, material, and labor, two windows can cost between $600 and $1,600.

Adding windows to a house is expensive. Budget roughly $5,800 to add a single window, and double or triple that to add two or three. In some cases, adding a single window can exceed $20,000, depending on the type of exterior wall, the size of the window, the type of window, local permit costs, and other factors.

Because egress windows are meant for emergency exiting and entering, they need to be an accessible size. The smallest an egress window is allowed to be is 15 inches in width and height, with an opening of around 4 square feet.
