"They did an excellent job, and it looks and feels great. Alvaro did a very good job of explaining all options and prices. The house looks fabulous, and it holds the inside temperature better due to the insulation. The clean up was very good. "
"Foam Nerds was very responsive and professional! They got the job done in the time that they estimated and we immediately felt a difference in our home's insulation! Felt cooler in the summer and warmer in the cooler months. 100% would recommend Foam Nerds to anyone thinking about getting insulation!"
"I n May of 2016 Mike did my spray foam insulation under the roof deck of the metal building I was finishing out as a guest house. The crew did the initial closed cell foam and then when I decided I wanted an additional layer of open cell foam, the crew promptly came back and did the second installment. Mike was true to his word and fair in his pricing even when I added to the job. I just recommended him to someone else and realized that I never wrote a review. So here it is!"
"They arrived on time. Both gentlemen were very polite and respectful. They did quality work at a very reasonable price. You could feel a difference in the house by the time they were halfway through the project. They did a good job cleaning up afterward. I will definitely call them again if I have any other insulation needs."
"I received 3 quotes on installing a new 5 ton unit to our house air network was $2,000 cheaper than the # 2 bid and over $3000 cheaper than the other bid. They came when they said and chris was very knowledgeable. We had a new unit installed as well as all new ducting and blown in insulation. I would highly recommend air network in the Weimar area"
"MARC JONES CONSTRUCTION TEAM ARRIVED ON SCHEDULE AND INSTALLED THE SOLAR ARRAY OVER TWO DAYS. "Roberto was the technician and he was very professional, polite, and personable. He inspected the rest of our system and told us things that needed to be changed or repaired. He showed me pictures of everything. Everything he told me about was accurate. He quoted me a price for R38 insulation , Some of our ducts were plastic and he recommended them to be changed. I agreed completely and didn't know they were plastic. I would have had them done the work but I had no price comparisons to make and besides I didn't have the money right then. So he just finished the vent cleaning and left his card. He did a great job on the vent cleaning and was happy with the work."
Reflective and high R-value batt or roll insulation are often considered energy-efficient, offering significant thermal resistance benefits.
Actually, condensation can mean that your windows are more energy efficient because the seal keeps cold air out and warm air in. In some cases, windows with poor seals can lead to more condensation, but they may allow the cold and warm air to mix and reduce condensation. If you’re worried about whether or not your windows are properly insulated, have a pro assess them.
On average, insulating an attic costs about $2,500, with a typical range of $1,500 to $3,500. The final price often depends on the attic's size, with costs generally falling between $1 to $3 per square foot. For example, insulating a 1,800-square-foot attic would likely cost between $1,800 and $5,400.
If the project involves removing old insulation, this can add an average of $900 to the total cost, bringing a full removal and reinsulation project to around $3,000.
Several factors influence the overall cost:
Insulation Type: Prices per square foot vary significantly by material.
Reflective: $0.50–$1.50
Blown-in: $1–$4
Batt: $2–$4
Loose-fill: $2–$5
Spray foam: $2–$5
Structural insulated panels (SIPs): $4–$7
Project Complexity: Factors like sealing air leaks, poor attic accessibility, and required inspections can add to the cost.
Removal Issues: The discovery of mold, asbestos, or pests during the removal of old insulation can substantially increase the price.

Unless your cellulose insulation is wet, moldy, or showing signs of mildew or pests, there’s no need to remove it before adding new insulation on top of it. Inspect your insulation thoroughly before adding the new insulation, and if you’re unsure how to assess the presence of mold or mildew, talk to a mold remediation specialist near you.
