They come out on a scheduled day each week, but not at a set-time of day. They are reasonably priced (approx $30 for our large yard). In the past year or two, they seem to be doing things more quickly & sometimes I see little patches of grass they've missed and also, they used to be good about getting lawn clippings/debris out of the pool w/ our skimmer net, but seem to have stopped doing that. They do several houses on the block on the same day & their crew is really fast--maybe they need to go a bit slower. Overall, our lawn looks good when they leave. Normally, they are responsive to questions & concerns. They did an excellent job w/ a major landscape project about 1-1/2 yrs ago & the flower beds they created are still looking good. Their bid was the most reasonable of the 3 companies I was getting estimates from. A couple of times in the recent past I've had miscommunication about scheduling w/ the landscaper for bigger projects. I think the key is to stay on top and keep calling so they don't forget about you."},"url":"https://www.angi.com/companylist/us/tx/katy/superior-lawn-care-and-landscaping-reviews-2068750.htm"},"position":8},{"@type":"ListItem","item":{"@type":"LocalBusiness","name":"TruGreen Lawn Care - 5778","address":{"@type":"PostalAddress","addressRegion":"TX","addressCountry":"US"},"review":{"@type":"Review","author":{"@type":"Person","name":"Wendy P."},"reviewBody":"Started out fine; employees that came out were very friendly and helpful. But in Oct. I asked them to try and deal with excessive weeds and they sprayed something on the lawn that totally killed the grass. After several attempts to find out what happened I finally got in touch with the Regional Mgr. - they never confessed to the damage but set up a plan to fix it with a promise of follow-up from the Reg. Mgr. They came out a few times and sprayed fertilizer and the Reg. Mgr. never came back out to check on the progress (he said 21 days). The dead spots are still there and the lawn still looks terrible. I called the local Mgr. to find out why the Reg. Mgr. wasn't responding to my emails (I didn't have his phone number) and the local Mgr. said he was \"unavailable\" and wasn't coming back out. I told him that the Reg. Mgr. had told us that he would re-sod the lawn if the grass didn't grow back so I wanted them to do that soon. He said I'd have to call him back in a week to find out when he could do that...wait! Who's the customer here?? I have to call HIM to find out when he's going to take care of it? Unreal! DON'T use this company...they trashed my front lawn!! I doubt I'll ever hear back from any of them! Very disappointed!"},"url":"https://www.angi.com/companylist/us/tx/sugar-land/trugreen-lawn-care--5778-reviews-126726.htm"},"position":9},{"@type":"ListItem","item":{"@type":"LocalBusiness","name":"HILLVIEW LANDSCAPING INC","address":{"@type":"PostalAddress","addressRegion":"TX","addressCountry":"US"},"review":{"@type":"Review","author":{"@type":"Person","name":"Erin B."},"reviewBody":"Mowing services were adequate (not the best lawn care company I've ever used). Calls to the owner go to an answering service and are rarely returned, although he regularly advertises additional services. Twice I have had services added to my bill which (a) were not requested by me, and (b) were not performed. The first time (over $50 for fertilizer) was removed from my bill after a few phone calls. The second time was after Hurricane Ike, when Hillview added $87 to my bill for unrequested and unnecessary services that were also not performed-the item was listed as a labor charge for \"Hurricane Ike clean up.\" Two calls to the owner regarding this charge were not returned. I sent him a letter to cancel service and still have not heard back, although I did receive a promotional mailing this week advertising lawn care services at $18/lawn ($12 less than I paid before) and a different telephone number for the same company."},"url":"https://www.angi.com/companylist/us/tx/houston/hillview-landscaping-inc-reviews-1939672.htm"},"position":10}]}

I just got a bill for $619.00 for trimming 2 bushes. Something they charged $225 for last time (which seemed high at the time). I honestly thought the invoice was a mistake so I contacted the business owner. The invoice included $426.00 for "Hardscape install". Remember, all they did was trim...

I'd love to actually write a real review stating how well they treated our lawn but I unfortunately can't really say anything other than I'm now forced to find someone else to perform the work after wasting time waiting for Green Up to contact me.

FAQs for lawn tool repair projects in Woodbranch, TX
Lawn mower repairs typically range from $40 to $90, with most people spending right around $60. However, your final total will depend on the type of lawn mower you have, the repair needed, and part availability.
Lawnmowers require seasonal maintenance to continue working correctly. With routine maintenance, you can extend its life to the fullest, which is around 10 years for push mowers and 5-8 years for riding mowers. To keep your lawn mower working correctly, you’ll want to take the following steps at least once a year:
Replace the spark plug
Change the oil
Drain the fuel tank
Clean the mowing deck (ideally, after every mow)
Replace the air filter
Check the carburetor
Sharpen the blades
Fog the engine
Check the tires
Before your lawn mower quits working entirely, it’ll likely give you some signs of wear and tear that indicate a repair is needed. Signs that you might need repairs to your lawn mower include:
Oil leaks
Vibrating engine
Smoking exhaust
Increase in time to mow
Unusual noises
Increase in gas consumption
If you are a skilled DIYer with experience, you can do certain lawn mower repairs yourself. However, if you’ve never worked on a lawn mower before or if your mower needs extensive repairs, it’s best to let a skilled lawn mower technician work on your machine. While it might be a little more expensive due to the cost of labor, nothing beats knowing that the job was done successfully (and often with warranties).
In many cases, it might be cheaper to repair your lawn mower than to replace it, depending on what needs to be repaired. The cost to replace a lawn mower dramatically varies, from $60 for basic models to over $15,000 for the top-of-the line models.
Small repairs like a spark plug replacement can be as little as $20, so replacing the whole lawn mower wouldn’t make much sense. However, repairing a crankshaft could be much more expensive at $500 to $900, so depending on the age of your mower, it might be best to replace it. It’s best to speak with your lawn mower repair technician to determine which option is best for you.
