I have been in the construction business for the last four years full time. I can handle anything from new construction projects, remodeling, or just some honey do projects. If you need a new ceiling fan or a new deck or maybe just your lawn mowed, I can handle it.

"Nathan May was superb with the jobs that we had him do for us. He not only built a Sunroom in a weeks time, but he also installed new rain gutters and put up a 6 foot fence in approx. 1125+sq ft. Nathan and his workers were perfectionists. He wanted everything to be right before he was paid. Which by the way he is very reasonable with his pricing. I am looking for him to replace all our windows after he finds some open time to do them. Again, I feel he is the Best in Lufkin."

To prevent carbon monoxide poisoning on a propane heater, make sure that your heater is suitable for indoor use. When you run the heater, it should always be in a well-ventilated area with proper air circulation. Installing carbon monoxide detectors on every level of your home is also essential. If you have any questions about using a heater indoors, contact a local heating and oil company for more information.

Home insurance prices depend on where you live and the individual insurance company's policies. Some insurers charge a flat fee for fireplaces or wood-burning stoves, which is often a few hundred dollars per year. Other insurers base this fee on a percentage of your annual premium. You may want to check your current or prospective policy before beginning this project.

Absolutely! Smoke alarms are lifesavers. According to the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), per 1,000 reported home fires, homes without working smoke alarms have a death rate nearly twice as high as those that do have working alarms. So remember to ensure you have enough installed in your home and that they are working and in good shape.

You can fireproof an existing door to some extent, but it's better to remove the old door and replace it with a fire-rated model. Anything dealing with extreme heat needs rigorous testing and a door you DIY fireproof will not undergo the same safety measures as a premade one. Consider a door with a rating of at least 30 minutes or more in residential areas.

They provide early warning, minimize property damage, and ensure safety during fire emergencies.
