"Outstanding!  Very thorough and professional cleaning company.  Service was performed as described, plus completed additional "little" things like sweeping porches and garage.  Great communication between company and customer.  They aim to please and welcome feedback."

I really enjoyed my telephone conversation with Ruth, one of the owners of the company.  She considers Customer Service a high priority which was very evident during our conversation.

Clint, our tech who cleaned the chairs was very presentable and had a very pleasant, professional demeanor.  He did a wonderful job cleaning our chairs.  They looked like new when the job was completed.

I highly recommend Bella Maison Carpet Cleaning and Restoration to anyone looking for professional, high quality carpet or upholstery cleaning.

"After a refrigerator leak caused water damage to our engineered hardwood floor, I called three different flooring companies for an estimate on either a repair or replacement. Due to the age of the floor, and the unavailability of the existing floor product, we had to do a complete replacement. My wife and I were most impressed with Michael Yanez, owner of Best Budget Flooring and Remodeling, so we chose his company for our wood floor replacement. We couldnâ t be more impressed with the entire process. Best Budget replaced our engineered hardwood with luxury vinyl flooring. It only took Michaelâ s flooring and painting teams three days to complete the project. The floor is approximately 1000 square feet. They moved all of our furniture, hung plastic to prevent dust from invading the rest of our home, removed the quarter round, removed the old floor, sanded and prepped the foundation, installed the new floor, repaired the water damaged baseboards, installed new quarter round, painted all of the baseboards, cleaned up after themselves, and moved all furniture to exactly where we wanted it. We were blown away with how quickly the project was completed. My wife and I absolutely love our new floor. Michael and his team were knowledgeable, professional and very courteous. Michael visited our home several times throughout the three days to make sure everything was going well. I couldnâ t be more impressed, and we would absolutely use Best Budget Flooring again. We highly recommend this outstanding company."

Carpet Installation questions, answered by experts

No, thick carpet padding isn’t necessarily better than thinner padding. The appropriate padding thickness will depend on the type of carpet and the amount of foot traffic in the area.

For example, thick padding works well in low-traffic areas, like bedrooms, where you have soft and plush carpeting. However, thick carpet padding can damage low-pile carpet, which is used in the busiest parts of your home (like hallways and entryways). For that reason, it’s best to use thinner, heavier padding underneath carpet in high-traffic areas.

Some flooring companies recycle old carpet after replacing it. The broader flooring industry has been moving toward recycling more carpet material. However, whether an individual carpet gets recycled is up to the flooring company that removes it. When gathering quotes for new flooring in your area, ask each company about removal options and what they do with the material.

Yes, carpeted stairs are generally considered safer than stairs with hard surfaces like wood, vinyl, or tile. Carpet provides more traction and friction, which helps reduce the chances of slips and falls. Additionally, if a fall does occur, carpet offers more cushioning, which can lessen the severity of an injury. While hard surfaces can look great, they are often more slippery. However, it's worth noting that some carpets, especially if they are new, dirty, or have a slick texture, can also pose a slipping hazard. To improve safety on any type of stair surface, you can add traction treads to increase grip.

Costs depend on carpet quality, labor, underlayment, and furniture moving requirements.

Yes, there are plenty of ways to lay stair carpet without grippers, such as carpet adhesive, magnetic flooring, or staples. Adhesive may be your best bet if you don’t want grippers, as it will most likely stick the best and cause the least amount of damage. However, if you’re looking for an easy fix, grippers are one of the best solutions you can purchase.
