"I was extremely pleased with the service quality, care and professionalism that each of the team members at Aireserv provided. We had a new HVAC installed in my home in Midland TX and from the very beginning the company was first class. The estimate was fair and below most of the equivalent competitor bids. The work was executed in 3 days after making the decision and was beyond what was expected. They met and exceeded all my needs and installed a good, long term HVAC system. They performed above what I had expected, in what is normally a sub par customer service town. Thank you to the Aireserv team and I would highly recommend Aireserv to anyone in the Midland/Odessa area. Special thanks to Jeremiah who was a part of the process from start to finish."

Small jobs welcome

Offers commercial services

"Byron tore down the old fence and did a great job putting up the new one. We had a couple ceiling fans installed in our bedrooms. Byron is a great craftsman and built my mom two beautiful custom built-ins along with her bathroom cabinets. My mom also has rental property and we had him change out some of the A/C filters as the ceilings are high and change out some windows. We have hired him again to do a lot of repairs and new work at the rental property to include building a wheelchair ramp, cementing a space for our A/C unit, building a large bench around a tree and fixing some of our loose bricks. We also have a family owned business and one of our yearly events requires putting up a 30x35 temporary building ( a lot of wood work involved). His knowledge in putting up the building helped everything go smooth. We have used Byron for years for small and large jobs. He is excellent in his field and service and we have been very pleased."

"Their customer service was top notch. I was needing my whole Central Unit replaced, I got ahold of them at 7pm and they came out that night after hours to give me an estimate which every other company I contacted wanted to do it on their schedule. They were then at my home installing the new unit bright and early the next morning. The new unit was installed and up and running by the time I returned from work. The service guy was very helpful answering all my questions. They even cut in new ducts for me right where I wanted them for no extra charge. I was beyond satisfied and would recommend Artic Air to anyone who needs HVAC work done."

"What a great experience. We actually had someone show up, do the work, and did not charge an arm and a leg. Very courteous, very clean and very knowledgeable. Would highly recommend anyone to use this company and we will be using again. It's very nice for someone, in this area, to be so good at what they do. The difference between other contractors we have had in our home and this company was the difference between day and night. Thank you."

Heating and Air Conditioning questions, answered by experts

If your home has an existing forced-air heat system, you can add a central air conditioner to it. An HVAC technician can retrofit your forced-air heating system by installing an evaporator coil onto the furnace plenum, the box next to the furnace that draws in air. Once installed, the air conditioning coils use the furnace’s blower to circulate the air.

No, for two very important reasons. First, it’s illegal to release refrigerant into the air or ground since it can be toxic and cause environmental damage. Technicians typically pump old or extra refrigerant into separate tanks for special disposal. Second, without professional equipment to read refrigerant pressure and levels, plus the AC’s suggested requirements, it’s impossible to know if you’ve removed the right amount of refrigerant. Stay away from a DIY solution here and seek an expert with the right tools.

You should flush your AC drain line once every three months to keep it clear of debris and buildup. Keeping your AC drain line clean prevents clogs, backups, mold growth, and extra wear on your AC unit. If you live in a humid area or have several furry pets, up your cleaning schedule to once a month.

You need to know the square footage of your home first. Multiply that number by 20, which will get you the BTUs (British Thermal Units) needed to cool your home efficiently. Homes up to 1,000 square feet usually need a 1.5-ton unit; homes 1,000 to 1,200 square feet usually need a 1.75-ton unit, and homes 1,200 to 1,400 square feet usually need a 1.9-ton unit. Talk to a local pro for more specific advice on your home.

Yes, HVAC zoning systems offer energy savings by allowing precise temperature control in different zones in your home. Rather than conditioning the whole house uniformly, these systems direct airflow where needed, preventing energy waste. Tailoring comfort to specific areas reduces energy consumption and lowers utility costs, making HVAC zoning an energy-efficient choice.
