"Did everything I asked and more. Arrived early and was ready to work. Her technicians had a problem with the machine and quickly fixed it and went right back to work. They even pointed out somethings that my wife and I didn’t notice. Right before they left she made to tell us to vacuum the carpet the following day after it was completely dry. I asked how long would it take for them to clean the carpet, she said it would be 2 hours but they were so fast it wasn’t even an hour and they were done. After they were done the carpet looked brand new. I will definitely recommend them to any and everyone."

"I am a business owner and am very short on time in my daily schedule. They were able to accomdate my time and their work was impeccable. We have 3 dogs at home. The carpet as well as the furniture were badly in need of a cleaning. They were able to do everything quickly and they did a great job! This nasty old carpet looks new and our couches are white. I literally thought they were supposed to be tan... I highly reccommend this service. They are the best carpet cleaning in Midland, Tx."

Carpet Cleaning questions, answered by experts

Looking clean is only half the battle. A professionally cleaned carpet should feel soft and fluffy, i.e., not caked down with dirt or matted from excess cleaning product. It will not have any unpleasant odors, since carpet cleaners go deep enough to eliminate the most sunk-in smells. It should also be free of stains or discoloration from heavy foot traffic. Keep in mind that, in some cases, your cleaner may not be able to remove every stain.

How you freshen a musty carpet depends on what’s causing it to smell funky. Baking soda can soak up some smells, and vinegar is a natural deodorizer. These DIY solutions can lift out light odors. However, steam cleaning or hot water extraction may be the best way to clean your carpet when the smell is deeply ingrained. These penetrate deep into carpet fibers and can remove musty mold spores and pet urine smells.

It is possible to get blood out of a carpet, but it is a difficult process in some cases, especially if the blood has dried. It’s best to address the blood stain as quickly as possible before the proteins in the blood bind to the carpet fibers. Start by blotting with just cold water, then with cold water and dish soap. From there, move on to more aggressive options as needed, such as enzymatic stain removers, hydrogen peroxide solutions, or ammonia solutions.

If you’re renting a steam cleaner, the right cleaning products to use on carpet are cleaning solutions designed specifically for steam cleaners and carpeting. Always follow the manufacturer’s guidelines to ensure you’re using the appropriate product. For everyday cleaning and deodorizing, white vinegar and baking soda are two natural but effective products to use; for urine and other biological messes, opt for an enzymatic cleaner. Avoid harsh cleaners like bleach or dish soap, which can damage carpet fibers or leave behind stubborn residue.

Soot can be harder to remove compared to other types of stains given its acidic nature. It can also cause underlying paint to peel off during the cleaning process. If your soot issue is a result of smoke damage, it’s recommended you call a pro to help remove it versus doing it yourself.
