"I recently had Shane with Carpet Service Express come and clean my carpet and tile in my home. He arrived on time, explained my options, and thoroughly cleaned my carpet and tile. I had years of pet stains that I thought would not come out and with his enzyme treatment and expertise- my carpets look and smell amazing!! My tile and grout has never been this clean. I am highly impressed and encourage anyone reading my review to hire Shane!!"

"Jerry was great.  He showed up on time, measured and gave a bid in writing.  He was very professional and knowledgeable.  He got our project done earlier than expected, which was great because we really needed to get my parents moved in to the house quickly.  His crew even worked on a Sunday to get finished in time for our painter to get started.  The floors are beautiful and I would highly recommend him to anyone.  And because it always feels good to know that you chose well, it turned out that I indirectly knew the sales guy who sold me the materials (his brother and sister-in-law are old friends).  He told me that his company has given Jerry installation jobs and that he is great and has a great reputation in the business.

Grout Tile Cleaners FAQs, answered by experts

The best thing to clean bathrooms with is an all-purpose cleaner, a mixture of white vinegar and water (50:50 ratio), and a glass cleaner for mirrors and glass surfaces. You can also use baking soda on areas with soap residue or mildew. The best tool to clean a bathroom depends on the specific task, but a sponge and a fresh towel are versatile options.

Cleaning typically takes 1-3 hours, depending on the area size and dirt buildup.

You should not use caulk as a direct substitute for grout, but it can be used as a temporary solution to fix minor cracks. Caulk is more flexible and doesn't dry as hard as grout, making it suitable as a supplement or for small repairs. To do this, first remove the old, cracked grout using a grout or rotary saw. Then, apply a matching caulk to fill the cracks, smooth it out, and let it cure. The curing time will vary, so follow the manufacturer's instructions; a full cure can take up to 48 hours.

If your floor tile grout is cracked, unsealed, or has small holes, then it’s time to regrout your tile flooring. Your grout is more prone to staining when it’s worn down, so consider regrouting when it shows signs of wear.

The cost for professional floor cleaning is $250 on average. This cost can range from $100 to $1,500, depending on the type of flooring and its square footage.

For example, natural stone flooring requires specialized techniques and care, so you'll spend closer to the higher end of the cost range. The cost of cleaning tile and grout is more cost-effective, where you'll pay an average of $0.50 to $3.50 per square foot.
