"Javier called to confirm the time and showed up promptly when scheduled.
He was extremely professional in manners and appearance. We showed him
the windows that needed replacing and he made some great suggestions,
gave us a written quote and showed up with his work crew on time on the
date scheduled. They not only did a beautiful job, they cleaned up after
and left no mess. We were extremely pleased and when it comes time to
replace more windows, this is the only company we will consider using.

"This business is owned by Victor Morales. He was on time every time, or a tiny bit early. Very nice man to talk to. Very professional and understands the work and the work ethic. Extremely polite. His employees are very knowledgeable, dependable and very trustworthy. My job was a roof repair. They did excellent work at a fair price. They took their time and did not cut any corners. The quality of the work is excellent and they cleaned up the job site so it was better/cleaner than when they arrived. I would recommend this professional without any doubts. I will likely hire this company/owner to perform more work/jobs for me in the future. I am not employed or affiliated with this company in any way except as a happy customer. If you have questions about my experience with this project, you may contact me for a reference for this company, by email: [email protected] because I am very happy and satisfied by the work/job they did for me. I will call them again!!"

Skylights questions, answered by experts

Most homeowners insurance policies cover skyight damage that is caused by hail. Hail damage is considered a covered peril under most standard insurance policies. However, this only applies if your skylights were properly installed. Also, insurance policies vary, so be sure to check your individual policy to see if skylight hail damage is covered.

The most popular treatment for a skylight is skylight shades. There are five primary types: manual, motorized, blackout, cellular//honeycomb, and Venetian. Motorized skylight shades are the most convenient, especially for skylights that are higher up, but manual shades are the most cost-effective treatments. Cellular/honeycomb shades are a perfect option for anyone who wants energy efficiency and an attractive look.

While it is possible to install a skylight as a DIY project, it is not recommended. Skylights are the most likely type of window to leak due to their position on the roof. Even minor mistakes during installation can lead to significant water damage and high repair costs. Additionally, working on a roof is dangerous, especially when maneuvering heavy, bulky windows. Due to the required roof modifications and the need for proper sealing and structural safety, hiring a professional skylight installer is strongly advised to avoid costly long-term issues.

Yes, flat roofs can make use of a skylight or window to allow natural light into the home. When finding the best skylight installer, it’s important to pick a professional with experience working with a flat roof. The installer must pick the right type of window design to match the slight slope of the roof.

There are four main types of lighting used in homes: ambient, task, accent, and decorative. Within these categories, there are a number of fixtures to choose from including ceiling-mounted lights, floor lamps, under-cabinet lights, track lighting, and more.

Choosing the fixture that’s right for you depends on your home design and the area you’re looking to illuminate.
