"Gentry with Fluid Power and Fab was incredibly nice to work with. He brought my vision to life and blew my expectations out of the water. He communicated with professionalism and was on time when he said he'd be here. We could not be more happy with all the work he did for us. Custom closets, assembled and hung bathroom cabinets and mirrors, did electric work, remodeled our bathroom/kitchen/dining area with new cabinets accent walls, built our island from scratch, and built our Murphy bed for our guest room! You definitely pay for what you get and his quotes were super reasonable especially for what we received in return. So grateful for Fluid Power and Fab! We look forward to getting our barndo power washed and him building some custom coffee tables and end tables by him for our next projects! Hire him and you won't regret it. Best experience I have ever had on Angi."

Pool Table Assembly questions, answered by experts

There are some disadvantages to a salt water pool. Besides costing slightly more than chlorine pools, salt water pools require a lot of salt. It's also harder to find a professional with salt water pool experience to do minor maintenance and repairs. Salt water can also damage some materials, so you’ll need to use specific heating, fixtures, lighting, liners, and masonry when building a salt water pool.

You shouldn’t swim in a pool with algae. When there’s algae, there’s also bacteria that’s feeding on the algae. Also, algae-infested pool water is often chemically imbalanced, which means germs like Cryptosporidium, Giardia, and E.coli could be present. These germs can cause a range of illnesses from gastrointestinal issues, to rashes, and respiratory problems.

The best thing to do is to get rid of the algae first, test and balance the water, and then you can enjoy swimming without any worries.

Costs range from $25,000 to $50,000, depending on size, design, and additional features.

Technically, you can fill in a pool yourself—with the caveat that filling in a pool requires the ability to drain the pool properly and move a substantial amount of dirt, which aren’t beginner DIY skills. If you want to fill in a pool, you’re better off hiring a local pool removal professional.

Pools and pool equipment tend to go on sale in the fall to make room for the next year’s inventory. That means if you’re looking for the lowest cost to install a pool in your outdoor space, you should start looking in the fall rather than the summer. You’ll save money and be ready to dive in during the warm months next year.
