"Purchased a deal for $169 for 2 hours of labor because we needed some outlets installed in our garage. We were looking for a well recommended electrician and decided to try Malco. I was a little surprised by the additional $49 travel fee to come to Kyle/San Marcos area, but it is what it is. They were a few hours late for the scheduled job time, but kept in contact with us about the delay on the previous job, which is totally understandable and appreciated. We needed (1) GFCI breaker replaced in the garage, and two new outlets installed in there as well. After discussing what was needed, they left to get the materials from Lowe's. We were a little surprised that the materials were not handy on the truck, but all in all the work was done very well and didn't take very long once they got started. Overall, I would recommend them, but felt the travel fee was a little excessive. We just would not hire again due to travel fee cost and will have to find someone closer. We have had other projects done by other companies out of our zip code area and this was the first time we were ever charged a travel fee, even from contractors coming from San Antonio area."

"We had great experiences with a very smart woman electrician from Mr. Electric in the past to replace garage light fixtures and repair some interior kitchen light shorts, so they were top of our list to call for the new issues. However, when I called the person fielding the call told me they do not do repairs of exterior lights and would only replace the entire fixtures, even for the one that simply has a stuck base of a lightbulb in it because a bulb broke when we were changing it. Why would they not repair external light fixtures and only do entire replacements of them? It seems very odd. They could not refer me to another electrician who does repair external fixtures, so here I am taking a look at Angi reviews."

"I hired Danny to replace an old recessed light in my living room with a small chandelier and everything went very smoothly. Danny provided the receipt for the electrical box he needed to purchase for the conversion and even with that, the total cost of the project was $67 less than another electrician had quoted me and the quality of his work was just as good. I would like to add that in addition to being courteous, efficient, and accommodating, Danny works very cleanly, which is a big deal for me. He either removed his shoes or used booties (I can't recall which, but it was appreciated), put a cloth beneath the area where he would be working AND he meticulously cleaned up all the fingerprints on the light fixture after he was done with the installation. I plan to use Danny's services again when I replace the light fixtures on the second floor of my condo."
