"This service is not what I was expecting. When I went to the Lewisville office was sitting in a visitors chair in an office. When I entered, she made contact and sat back down as if I was an unwelcomed visitor.. Great customer service? I would never recommend this local service to anyone. In fact, I am planning to drop a friendly note at locations that this branch is servicing because they need to know that they can get better service/quality elsewhere. Bu the way, Weedex turned me over to a collection company because of a $149 bill. An error on my part...... But enough to keep me away and hopefully you... You is a customer"

"We recently had the pleasure of working with Jake, the owner of Sporange Landscape and Drainage, and we couldn’t be happier with the results. Jake installed two patios and a connecting path, using contemporary large-format porcelain pavers and gravel planting beds that border and define the patios and the path. He also redirected the existing downspout discharge underground and away from the house and patios. The craftsmanship and attention to detail are second to none. From start to finish, Jake was professional, communicative, and passionate about his work. He listened to our vision and he delivered."

The largest issue with xeriscaping is the up front cost and the amount of work required to amend your old lawn. Xeriscaping costs $3,000 to $24,000 on average, but the long-term payoff, both financially and environmentally, includes saving water, time, and money on lawn maintenance.

You should exercise care when deciding how to landscape over a leach field for your septic system. You typically want lightweight materials that won’t damage the drain field’s perforated pipes. When adding plants to the area, select plants with shallow roots, such as grass or flower gardens. Trees with deep roots could damage the pipes in the field.

Grading refers to the sloping of your yard away from your house’s foundation. It’s a landscaping term you probably know well if you’ve ever had to push your lawn mower up a steep slope.

Leveling is the solution to grading issues since it involves making your yard flat and smooth (and easy to push a lawn mower through).

An aboveground pool should be level within 1 inch—and it starts to become unsafe after a couple of inches. Any slope will lead to an uneven distribution of water, which will put pressure on your pool’s structure, wearing down the pool liner. In certain cases, it could cause your pool to collapse. Even if you’re within a safe window, you may still notice that the water level is uneven.

It depends on the model of your pool. You’ll always have to level the topsoil, but most vinyl-lined pools require an additional 1- to 2-inch layer of sand to protect the liner. This way, when a foot kicks down to the bottom of your pool, it’s not scraping the liner against the hard ground. If your pool isn’t vinyl-lined, you can skip this step or add a layer of another base material, like decomposed granite. Always check your manufacturer’s instructions before you begin.
