Swinburn Construction has been in business since 2000. This business was a concrete and brick business that my grandfather started sometime in the 1930's. This has been a family business all along. I learned everything I know from my grandfather and my father. I am the third generation to keep this business going. We build custom homes from the ground up including all phases. We can do all the land clearing, dirt work, concrete slab, framing, roofing, electrical, plumbing, air conditioning, all the way to complete finish out. Tillema & Sons is a family owned and operated full service masonry business. We do jobs for the individual homeowner or subcontract for other companies. Smaller jobs will require a small deposit with payment in full due when job is done. Larger jobs will require a down payment with periodic draws with payment due at end of job. A standard drill will work just fine if you’re drilling small holes, and only a few of them. But anything with a diameter larger than 3/8 inch is best done with a hammer drill, since it is stronger, faster, and also makes your drill bits last longer. While you don’t absolutely need a hammer drill for stucco, it is a worthy investment if you think you might drill more holes down the road.
If you're installing stucco in a climate with extreme weather, synthetic stucco may be the only viable option, as it lasts longer, is less prone to cracking, and resists moisture better. Traditional stucco is a suitable option in hot climates where moisture and rainfall are less common, so it’s a good option for affordability both up front and over time in these areas.
You can use small bits that are up to 3/8 inch in diameter, or larger bits that are 1/2 inch or more in diameter. Make sure the bits you use are coated with carbide or diamond; this information is usually visible on the package. You can also use hole saw bits to drill into stucco.
