"I recently completed a six-month project with NRG Remodeling, and I couldn't be more impressed! The renovation of my 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom home, and kitchen went smoothly from start to finish. The communication was top-notch, and the team worked quickly and efficiently, all while maintaining very fair pricing. The quality of the workmanship was outstanding, and the entire experience was stress-free—much smoother than I anticipated. It's rare to find such a professional and personable team, and I’m already planning my next project with them. I would absolutely recommend them for any home renovation and will definitely turn to them for future work!"

"We were struggling with lack of space in our closets and cabinets. She came over and helped with so many good ideas on how to save space and what the best products were. She gave out good tips that we would have never thought about. She jumped right into helping us get my husband's office room organized. Something we have been struggling with for the past three years! She really got into every single area that could be used more efficiently, and helped us clear out the clutter. And when her alarm went off after she spent up all her time we paid her for, she did not run out the door. She waited until the job was done. I feel very good in the money we invested in her.

Closets questions, answered by experts

A standard walk-in closet has dimensions of 7 feet by 10 feet at a minimum and an average of 100 square feet. Remember that the dimensions of the closet aren’t necessarily the usable space. This means that a 100-square-foot walk-in closet with shelves on each wall and an island may only have a walkable area of 50 square feet or less. Make sure you consider the effect of additions when you plan the room—mockups are a great idea.

You can modernize an old-looking closet by just painting it, but beyond that, consider electric elements like recessed or accent lighting. If this is a large and deep closet, you can consider adding an island to the middle or a nice ottoman on a rug. Luxury closets will have even more items, like felt-lined drawers for watches and jewelry, in-wall safes, electronic shoe storage, or a tablet catalog of their items.

Common materials include wood, laminate, and wire. Choose based on durability, style, and budget.

Costs depend on material, customization level, and additional features like lighting or sliding doors.

Since they are so fragile, it is not usually recommended to stack anything on top of your packed lamps. If you have sturdy boxes, and what you plan to put on top of them is of a similar weight, it’s okay to stack.
