"I was satisfied however, the appt. was for 10 am, they showed at 9am, they decided to leave and come back. They did what I asked, 3 full bathrooms, dust, and mop, there was 3 of them and said the time is minimum 4 hours like I was told but, they only stayed for 2 hours total. was that correct? I discovered the master bathroom toilet was not properly cleaned, it was dirty behind the lid. In the kitchen, I only asked them to clean the counters and they did but did not move the things off the counter, they cleaned around the counter items. overall I was moderately satisfied. I will give more instruction next time."

Blind Cleaning questions, answered by experts

Black widow spiders often live near residential areas, drawn by the promise of shelter and a steady supply of prey. These arachnids gravitate towards dark, undisturbed hiding places like crawl spaces, garages, and cluttered areas where they can build their webs and remain hidden from sight. By keeping homes clean and clutter-free, homeowners can reduce the risk of attracting black widow spiders.

Insulating windows without plastic is usually the better method. Outside of simply replacing your windows, you could buy cellular shades, which trap air between the window and the home, add a window film that blocks UV rays and traps heat, or cover your windows with a low-emissivity coating called “low-E.”

Because the built-in blinds are encased in glass, they should not get dusty. You might, however, find that your door’s window panes get dirty. If that is the case and you wish to clean your patio door’s glass, first remove any loose debris with a small vacuum or brush. Next, fill a bucket with warm water and some mild dish soap. Dip a clean rag into the bucket and wet the glass on your patio door. Dry the glass with a clean microfiber cloth.

Window treatments fall under the categories of hard, soft, and layered. Hard refers to stiff, formed treatments that include window blinds and shutters. Soft refers to cloth window treatments that include drapes and curtains. Finally, layered refers to the combination of soft and hard treatments. For example, you might place flowing drapes over blinds to combine the practicality of a treatment that blocks the sun with the whimsical and elongating aesthetic of a full-window drape.

Yes, they can reduce heat exchange by providing an extra layer between glass and interior. Choosing energy-efficient options can lower heating and cooling costs.
