Scott ExteriorsLesson learned the hard way: It's almost been a year since the big storm that hit parts of the Dallas area on 6/9/19. Straight line winds hit up to 85 mph in some areas. One area hit hard was our neighborhood in Lake Highlands. As clean up began the next day, it was evident that every house on our street was going to need a new roof. The door knockers offering discounts for new roofs were out in full force. One got my neighbor and I was invited over to the conversation. The next thing you know, paperwork was signed and a new roof was completed. Fast forward almost one year later: After the rainy season this spring began, I started noticing leaks appearing on the inside of our home. Instead of going back to the 'door knocker', I called up Scott Exteriors. A local Lake Highlands roofing company. The owner, Kirk Scott showed up the next day. After examining the work that had been done, it has been determined NONE of the flashing around all of our exhaust fans on the roof had been flashed correctly. Furthermore, the gutters were not hung correctly which has already caused water damage in the form of wood rot. The next day Scott Exteriors solved all of our problems with the roof. I can not recommend Scott Exterior's enough for all of your roofing needs. Get it done right the first time, and you will save thousands down the road. StazOn Roofing IncJustin Graham came out to check what I needed repaired. He took some pictures, showed me and was able to access the problem. He sent me an estimate promptly. I scheduled the repair. They did an excellent job for sure. The roofer also took pictures where the gap, other shoddy work was revealed. It was fixed properly. The bill was reasonable. Ron sent someone to my house the next day and gave me a bid. Tristan and Jade are great! Not only did they do an amazing job, but also, they said I need sealant around the windows which will help the temperature in the house to not be so cold in the winter and hot in the summer. My husband and I were thinking we needed all new windows as they haven't been changed since 1998, when the house was built. The price of new windows would be astronomical and we didn't want to bite the bullet. Tristan and Jade said the windows are still in good shape and all we needed is some sealant. Also, there are several windows which are foggy and would require custom size windows which would add to the price of the windows. Instead they said that can be fixed without purchasing new windows. Other window cleaners I've used in the past have always said I need new windows and of course, they could install them for us. However, Tristan said NBC doesn't install windows but highly recommend a company where they refer a lot of customers. I immediately called and they said I don't need new windows either!! That just saved me about $100K!! I can't thank Tristan and Jade enough!! And they did a phenomenal job, too! I give them an A+++ and will continue to use them from here on out!!

Told representative I was stuck in traffic through our ring doorbell for our 12 o’clock appt and would possibly be 15 minutes late. This was 11:55 by the way. She couldn’t wait. Ended up arriving at home at 12:00 anyway, and she already left. I passed her truck driving away. I guess they don’t have time for their customers. So, I wouldn’t do business with them

Blanca first came out and gave us an estimate. She was very prompt, polite, and professional, and with great knowledge she answered all questions and made suggestions to improve the gutter system. She really took her time explaining everything about the work that would be done and broke down the estimate she proposed. On the day as promised, the work crew arrived promptly and performed the work as necessary. They finished the job in a day and a half, and work performed seemed to be very well done. I was very happy with the materials that they used as they appeared to be solid and well-constructed. The onsite crew was very polite and professional, and they also answered any questions that came up. Once the job was done, we were very happy with the work performed, but we had an issue with one of the down spouts. We called Blanca and asked her if she could have the crew come out and move it from the front of the house to the side. She mentioned that TX Gutters was very busy at the time, but she promised they would be out as soon as they could. A couple days later while I was bringing in groceries, I happened to notice that the down spout was moved to the requested spot on the side of the house. I was very impressed with this level of service and professionalism, and I was very grateful for this. I highly recommend TX Gutters for any such work, whether it is a complete job as I had, or for any repairs or modifications. They gave us a fair price, used good materials, and demonstrated professionalism all throughout this process. They also worked within our timelines as we had to postpone things a couple times due to various conflicts. Thank you, Blanca, and TX Gutters, for a job very well done, and best of luck to you and your crew.
