"Found Sentri on Angi. Jeanette and Violet were very pleasant and efficient in getting a contractor to me in the time frame needed. The contractor was excellent and the roof looks great! I would definitely work with them again if I had additional projects."

"After purchasing an Angie's List Deal, I received the measuring kit in the mail promptly. The template and instructions provided to draw my split table top and each of the leaves were easy to use and understand. I mailed the completed materials and received the table pads very quickly. The table splits in the middle to allow insertion of up to 3 additional leaves. The table also has 2 drop leaves. That's 7 pads. All fit perfectly. I have used them on the table for family parties (not every day) and they're durable and built to last. I keep them in the box they arrived in to protect them when not in use. These are a worthwhile investment."

"A lot of small stuff was off uneven tile seat where water won’t run off , did not evenly space tile to get rid of small pieces. Installed towel rack about three inches off center and covered our bedroom with a thick dust."

"The guys were very prompt, and had fantastic communication with us. They worked with my schedule and tried to get to the issue as fast as time could allow. Paul knew we were working on a constrained budget and really went above and beyond to help us be able to afford to make the repairs needed, which was really a life saver. I was completely freaking out over how we were going to afford everything, and I couldn't be more grateful for how sympathetic they were. They took the time to explain what the actual problems that causes the damage were, what they weren't, and answered all of the questions I had, coming from someone who knows absolutely nothing about construction, in a way I could easily understand. They explained the possible solutions, and the processes for repairing the leak and the damage and what likely caused the initial hold in the AC pipe, as well as some other risks, and how we might avoid them. They even poked into another couple spots on our ceiling to make sure there wasn't any other water building up for us.
While they had access to the attic, they also took the time to look into another issue I'd told them about - a dip in the roof that the house had come with. The first guy we'd talked to wanted to charge us 4k for the bare minimum in fixing it, which we haven't been able to afford. Paul explained the entire issue to us, and even gave us a much more simple, straight forward way that even we could do ourselves if we wanted to, and quoted us a price that was amazingly better for us. We'll definitely be having them come back later to go about fixing that issue as well.
The work was completed in about 3-4 days, given the need to have things dry, or juggle schedules, and it looked fantastic once it was done. They also took special care to protect the area around the damage from the dust and debris from clearing it out and doing repairs, and kept it all contained and away from the rest of our house. We weren't able to afford the cosmetic work, in retexturing and repainting, but they also gave us some advise on how to easily do it ourselves, and pointed out some examples on the other ceilings in our home.
I really don't think we'll ever be calling anyone else but the guys at American Remodel in the future, both for the incredible quality of their work, and for how very caring they are about what they do and the people they help. I've already recommended them to another friend I have at work with a similar issue. They're professional, honest, hardworking and kind.
Thank you so much!"

Carpentry questions, answered by experts

Yes, most services include necessary frame modifications for proper door fitting. Confirm with your provider.

New builds, remodels, and additions often necessitate professional framing expertise.

There are a variety of second-story deck privacy ideas depending on your budget and aesthetic. For starters, you might consider fencing or tall privacy railing that masks a good portion of the open deck. A pergola or an awning can provide additional cover and shade. Outdoor curtains are an easy way to add or remove privacy at your convenience, plus they’re a wallet-friendly way to decorate your deck.

While it is possible to build a wooden carport yourself, especially if you are skilled in carpentry, professional construction is recommended. Professionals ensure structural integrity, proper anchoring, correct alignment, and the use of quality materials for a stable and durable result.

The easiest way to tell if a wall is load bearing is to check if it’s an exterior wall or if it runs perpendicular to the joists above and below it (or parallel to beams). Exterior walls are almost always load-bearing, and walls that run under beams or parallel to them are also usually load-bearing. There are exceptions to these rules, and walls that don’t fit into these categories can still be load-bearing. If you’re unsure, hire a structural engineer to look at your home to assess whether or not the wall is structural.
