The tinting not only adds a sleek look to my windows but also provides the privacy and UV protection I was looking for. "Jeremy and his team did a great job! They removed the 18-year-old tint we had on our windows before beginning their installation. They took the time to make sure all glue residue was gone, and the glass was clean before applying the ceramic tint. We selected 35% on the majority of our windows and put 25% on our higher windows where the sun has been blinding. The tint makes the outside colors more vibrant, and it looks great!! We've been putting this off way too long and are so glad we finally got it done. We highly recommend Dynamic Tintz for their product, their work ethic, and their professionalism. Thanks!!"

"Top quality installation on a front door / glass entrance to a new house in Grapevine. Ryan and his team are top notch, professional and responsive. They turned it around the same day, and the pricing was well below what they could have charged given the quality of work. I will definitely use them again, whether it is a residential or commercial application. 10/10!"

Window Tinting questions, answered by experts

One drawback is that window film can reduce the amount of natural light entering a room, particularly if you opt for a darker or more opaque film. Additionally, if not installed properly, window film may develop air bubbles or wrinkles, affecting its appearance. Over time, certain types of window film may also experience discoloration or peeling. Moreover, certain window films can interfere with wireless signals, such as Wi-Fi or cellular reception. Careful consideration of these potential drawbacks is essential when deciding whether window film is the right choice for your home.

A common way to modernize arched windows is to install interior window treatments that allow light through the curved portion up to and let you cover the bottom portion for privacy. You can also install plantation shutters to make an arched window look more modern. From the exterior, arched windows can appear outdated if they’re coupled with ornate trim, so toning down the decor can make your window look more natural with a modern design.

Upgrade to double-glazed glass or apply energy-efficient coatings to reduce heat loss and utility costs.

Most window installation and repair companies can handle putting tint film over your existing windows, but it’s best to hire a company that specializes in window tinting. This decision will result in the best application for the cleanest look, and it usually means you’ll get a better professional opinion about the type of tint and tint level that makes the most sense for your home and personal preferences.

Replacing a window frame will improve your home’s energy efficiency if the old frame is cracked or damaged in a way that allows unconditioned air from the outside into your living space or if you upgrade to a more energy-efficient window frame material. Aluminum is the least energy-efficient window frame material, followed by vinyl and wood. Fiberglass and composite frames are the most energy-efficient.
