"Wallpaper removal and painting was done professionally using plastic protective material to protect house from dust and paint. Contractor was efficient and methodical in applying the Fresco base, texture and finish coats and glaze with excellent results. Also did an excellent job manufacturing and painting the custom mirror frame to match the new bronze sink fixtures and cabinet hardware.

"They are professional painters and did an excellent job on my ceiling. I had the entryway, the living room, kitchen, laundry room and halfway popcorn removed from ceiling, retextured and then painted ceiling white paint. It was a beautiful job. The only complaint I had was one of the workers dropped or stood on my new dryer and left a dent on it, and he didn't tell me about it. I found out about it a day later. Also Anthony Hernandez was supposed to come after they finished the work to see if their work was good or if I had any complaints and he didn't do that. Other than those two things, I was pleased with the work, and I would hire them again."

"I read many reviews on Angies List and contacted several painting companies with my needs.  Carlos from Allstar Painting was one of three responses I received that could do the work requested.  Based on reviews and his responsiveness, I gave him the job immediately upon receiving his bid.  This was on a Thursday.  He said he could start on Tuesday and the job would take two days.  I wanted Crown molding in the bathroom and together we contacted a colleague of his to come by and look at the job and give me a bid on the work.  The two got together and worked it out so the job could still be done on the two days. Carlos arrived on time both days, moved the furniture to put down a carpet of paper so that anything tracked in would be on the paper. He removed the bathroom door, blinds, and proceeded to tape, float and texture the walls.  Some caulking was required and he also did that.
We decided on a paint color together.  He actually changed my mind about the color I had selected.  The second day he arrived on time and got started on painting the ceiling before the trim man arrived.  When he did arrive, the two of them worked together in harmony to get the the trim and crown molding put up. After the trim man left, Carlos finished up the job. He pulled up the 'carpet of paper', cleaned up the bathroom, and left things very neat.  I couldn't be more pleased with his professionalism and a job well done.  I definitely recommend him highly if you have painting needs.  He is a really nice man, too!

"Brad from The Finishers visited our home to give us a quote for work we thought needed to be done.  This is exactly why this review is rated highly.  We had a couple of items in the cabinetry genre that needed attention.  We informed him of our thoughts that we may put our home on the market and that we didn't want to go overboard on repairs and refinishes.  After we showed him item 1, he indicated a particular repair process that we could cheaply and sufficiently perform on our own!  (He even told us the method, the names of the product and where to go to buy and get further guidance.)  Item number two was a huge money making opportunity for him.  Refinishing a good amount of cabinetry.  However, he assured us that it wasn't in horrible shape, and again gave us details as to how to fix our wood products.
Item number 3 was wallpaper removal, wall painting and trim/door painting.  He informed us that he is no longer in that business.
So, in reality, we did not contract him for anything or pay him for anything.  But he DID provide service to us.  This is why I checked the yes box regarding services performed.  We have not contracted him to perform any work, because he convinced us it wasn't necessary.  Whaaaaat?  
Brad was truly professional and gracious.  I immediately forgot the name of the products after he left and called him on the phone. He answered the question again for me.  Then...two days later, he followed up with an email to see if we had tried the repairs, yet.  What wonderful customer service.  
When I need something done in the cabinetry or wood furniture refinishing areas, I am calling Brad at The Finishers!!!  I think you'd be pleased with the high level of customer service that Brad supplies.

"After receiving bids from two others top rated remodeling companies in the area.  PHD is chosen to complete the work.  We decided to do a complete remodel of the master bath, remove the garden tub which seldom used and extend the area into a big shower with a frameless glass wall, custom vanities, quartz counter top, new flooring, mirror, light fixtures and new paint. 
Derek has been great to work with from the beginning to the end.   He quickly responded to my initial contact, came by and provided a very detailed quotes in a couple of days,  he always on time, provided many great advices, responsive to questions and concerns throughout the process.  
For the remodeling part, Derek recommended to use the German engineered Wedi shower system to completely sealed the shower area, price is more than traditional mud plan method but well worth it to  avoid problem years down the road.   He also gave many good suggestions for the project and very helpful and flexible in tiles, cabinet, fixtures selection.  The crews working for him are also professional, attention to details, top notched,  they cleaned up daily the work area and I learn quite a few tricks from them.  Derek also showed up daily to make sure not just the schedule and also the work is done right.   The project finally turns out an outstanding job.

"Kitchen Pros owners, Reed Lowman and Richard Varga, secure most of their business by reference. They first visited us in mid -January and listened carefully as we described what we wanted to accomplish in our home as well as our concerns about cost. They asked questions, made suggestions, and described the benefits and downside to several options. They returned several days later with drawings and initial estimates. The estimates were within our budget such that we added some amenities we had originally planned to do without. Then we began to meet with Reed and Richard as they hosted us at various facilities to select our slabs of granite as well as flooring and backsplash tile. Reed and Richard arrived with their crew on time the first work day and by day's end we were left with four walls and a concrete floor. All the debris was hauled away and the rest of our home was unaffected by the destruction. The next day some drywall repairs were made, and the painters arrived. They completed their work competently by week's end. On the date promised, the cabinets arrived and were installed by another in a series of professional crews that Reed and Richard rely upon. Under counter lighting followed the next day. Installation of the flooring began the day after. Reed and Richard were examining the floor as the installer was about to apply the grout when I noticed that there might be enough tile left to complete a 75 sq. ft. entry that was covered by a 20 year old wood laminate. Minutes later we had a very fair quote, and the tear out and placement of that floor was also completed by day's end. The next two days were devoted to backsplash installation, grouting, caulking and the bathroom floor. The paint contractor returned to do touch up and we were essentially complete with the main tasks. Reed and Richard then immediately began the process of handling punch list items, which they pretty much did personally. Meanwhile, I (using contacts from Reed and Richard) arranged and completed the installation of my new appliances, kitchen plumbing, and a repair to the guest bath toilet for a problem discovered when it was removed to install the guest bath floor. My wife and I are now enjoying our new kitchen and other improvements, and we are doing so at a price we didn't think possible. Plus, the process was about as trouble free as imaginable. The few problems that did surface were handled by Kitchen Pros before my wife and I could dwell on them. The name ?Kitchen Pros? describes Reed, Richard, and their contract workers perfectly. Once you meet with them you will begin to understand why you will want to place your project in their hands. They have certainly earned my endorsement."
