"We recently purchased a home that had solar panels purchased and installed from Aztec Renewable Energy. Our utility company notified us our panels were no longer sending information to them. We contacted Aztec, left a voice message, and they immediately returned our call and got the process rolling to remedy our problem. This being our first home with solar panels were had many questions. They were very kind and patient with us, explained the potential problems and cost of the potential project. This is our first contact with Aztec and it could not have gone better!"

"Carlos was EXTREMELY kind and very hard working. I realized after he hung up the camera that it wasn't picking up wifi from where it was. He already drilled it into the steel beam but without any problem, he was VERY understanding and polite. I feel horrible because I would tell him where I wanted it and he would put it there. Then I would ask him to move it. Carlos was so very kind and he never had a problem. I feel I made it more difficult. I didn't mean to. But no matter what he was kind and never showed anything but happiness and kindness. Anyone who reads this needs to hire Carlos. I think you would be so happy with your choice. Thank you Carlos for the great work you do."

"Because of the storms we had in May in our area, several homes in the area required new roofs. We called several contracters. Many could not even come and give us an estimate because of the volume of roofs. When I called Carrillo, Will was quick to come out to the house and walk me through the steps needed for the mortgage company and the insurance company. He even let me select a new shingle color. I wanted something different than the orginal color that was the same as the whole neighborhood. He even explained ridgeline roofing to me. I went ahead and selected these.
Carrillo worked around my schedule. When they came out the workers were here before 7 and had most of the old shingles off by 11. By the end of the day the whole roof was complete. They did a great job of cleaning up the area and left no trash and hardly any nails.
The gutters were installed the next week in the color we wanted,  They look great.
The whole process took less than some houses in the area. Thank you for the roof, it is beautiful and we have gotten several compliments.

"They were wonderful. Jesse the owner, was so accommodating to travel to Meridian where my brother’s house and build the ramp for him. It came out beautiful and my brother who had an leg amputation recently was so happy with it. I can’t say enough words on how great they were to work with. I would highly recommend them and will hire them again."

Awnings questions, answered by experts

Awnings are either fixed or retractable and can be paired with a variety of cover materials. Fixed awnings are a permanent outdoor feature of a building. These are highly durable and require ongoing maintenance. Once installed, the position of this awning cannot be changed.

Retractable awnings are more popular than fixed awnings since the cover can open and close. This allows homeowners to open and close the awning, depending on the weather. When not in use, it can be closed to allow for extra space.

Metal awnings last much longer than fabric thanks to their durability and resistance to fading, sun damage, and damage from the outside elements. They also need less maintenance than fabric options. Both items add curb appeal to your home, but you shouldn't expect either type of awning to add property value to your home.

Yes, most awnings include warranties for materials and installation. Confirm terms before purchasing.

The average cost to build a pergola ranges from $2,200 to $6,400, whereas the average cost of an awning ranges from $1,400 to $4,400, meaning that an awning tends to be less expensive to build or install than a pergola. Ultimately, the less expensive option depends on a few factors, including size, quality of materials used, and location.

It’s not a good idea to allow heavy rain to fall on your awning, as puddling can occur and overload the awning. Your awning should be able to handle a light rain, though you should allow it to dry out before retracting it or open it to dry as soon as the rain stops. As always, consult manufacturer guidelines for using and caring for your awning.
