"George did a wide range of things during our remodel. He completely gutted all old flooring from both floors including the stairs. On the 2nd floor he laid Pergo Max laminate and stained to match oak trim for the transition pieces. 1st floor was much more in depth. We decided to go with an 18x18 porcelain tile in the kitchen/living room and wanted to replace the old fireplace mantel with a full sized stone mantel when he he did a fantastic job installing. He suggested offsetting those large tiles and they came out great. Then there was the formal dining/sitting room which we decided to transform into a game room. This is where things got a little complicated. We wanted the same oak color as the laminate upstairs, but with porcelain tiles while having to match the custom oak stairs George was going to build for us, along with incorporating travertine in the front entrance. Without getting too much into the details everything turned out beautifully. Forgot to mention that he put in all new baseboard throughout the house. Other things he did included removing/re-installing all the lighting fixtures, and installed a new back door with a dog door as well. He also built the bar in the attached photos.
