I've lived in Dallas for only a little while, but it already feels like home, I started this company because I wanted to be my own boss and build my own future. I am easygoing, I like to have fun with the process!. I most want my customers to know I always put myself in my customers shoes, treat their home like my own.

"I got about three or four quotes and he was almost twice as much. I had decided to go with this other guy but for one it was Dave that gave me the quote and told me exactly everything that he was using, everybody else I had to go back and ask them to give me a quote, ask them questions of what they were doing. It was more or less business and money and that’s it. One guy said $3500, another one was $4500 and I was going to go with that guy and at the last minute, he tells me he wants to put in a drip system. I read about the drip system and I did not want that. The reason it was so expensive is because, in my back yard, I have a lot of beds and concrete, no grass so all had to be hand done and you have to go under a lot of concrete slabs to get to it and that is why it was more expensive. The guy that said $3500, I don’t think he even looked in my backyard, I really don’t, because I wasn’t here and I had to go back and ask question about the quote he gave me. I was afraid to spend the money on something I wasn’t sure I was getting but I understood why they were having to get through the yard, I had just put in a hot tub and they had to go underneath the concrete to get to hooking up the tub underneath and I have sidewalks, patios and beds. So it wasn’t easy to get to electrical which is why I went with a different guy on the electric thing because they had to get underneath slab and cut out a hole and send an electric wire to the kitchen. So there was a lot involved in doing two around my backyard. But he was a lot more money, I understand the work was involved. I had another man that made a trip twice and never send me a quote. Legacy was extremely professional. I do think it was more money, I don’t know what he would charge on a regular yard but I have to say mine is not easy to get to and I understand that. He was very nice. His quote was very professional. It wasn’t a simple fix, they had to hand dig all around the backyard, I have eight columns between the woods and there were a lot of fixtures on these columns and they had to make sure and had to be careful that they didn’t cut any of my electric and they were careful. It was just a lot involved there. They were very professional. They got it done real quickly. They didn’t come back and hit me with any surprises and I was just real pleased with everything. The price was high but I didn’t have a lot of compare it to, I really didn’t trust the other people to do what needed to be done."

"We had Gilbert pour us a third driveway pad, extended the back porch. While frame up work we had him add a 12â circle for our fire pit. Beautiful work. Fast and on time. They cleaned up after they finished there work. We highly recommend him."

Patios questions, answered by experts

A deck is typically attached to a house and accessed via the back door. Decks are usually constructed from wood or composite materials. A terrace, on the other hand, is a raised platform that can be attached to or detached from the house and is typically made from a hard-paved material, such as paving stones. Terraces can be built on the ground or on the roof of a home.

You can start your search for a reputable patio company by finding providers in your area with positive ratings online and few, if any, complaints filed with the Better Business Bureau (BBB). Once you narrow down your search, contact the companies and ask for examples of their past work, as well as a list of references. The examples will show you the quality of the work you can expect and how professional the finished product will be, and contacting previous customers will give you an idea of the service you can expect throughout the process.

Yes, transforming a deck into a sunroom is an absolute possibility. Building a sunroom involves framing in the deck area with walls, adding windows, and affixing a roof. This project is not an easy task, but it does provide a stylish addition to your house. Not all deck designs support this type of renovation project, so consult a professional deck builder before beginning.

A sunroom offers an additional indoor space to rest, dine, or host guests, all while inviting in as much sun as possible. Either built like an enclosed porch or a fully insulated home extension, a sunroom features floor-to-ceiling windows or screens that create an open, bright design while still remaining protected from the elements and bugs.

There are many materials to choose from, including picket fencing, wood slats, galvanized metal skirting, dog-ear fence panels, scallop wood fence panels, bamboo screens, and other decorative screens. You can search for materials at local big box stores like Home Depot or scour online home improvement sites. Good search terms to use are fencing, skirting, and privacy panels.
