I've lived in Dallas for only a little while, but it already feels like home, I started this company because I wanted to be my own boss and build my own future. I am easygoing, I like to have fun with the process!. I most want my customers to know I always put myself in my customers shoes, treat their home like my own.

"Chris Hamm and his team re-stained our deck. They took care of matching the stain and clearing the deck of all of our plants. They were prompt, professional, and did a quality job."

"The one time we had four people out. Its sort of been- its a mixture of people because they've got different things to do and they do them. But its about four people. They were very personable. They were they listened to the things that I wanted to have done and didn't try to talk me into something else. They were quick to get the work done, they cleaned up after themselves and they did great work."

"We had a 1989 toilet replaced with a skirted toilet. This was the 5th toilet and third plumber we have hired to replace the toilets one at a time in our home. Although the price charged was slightly more than the other two installers, he worked without interruption, cleaned up his mess very well and there are no problems with the install. The skirted toilets leave little room for a plumber to work but we love the cleaner look."

Deck Cleaning questions, answered by experts

Decks require several inspections during and after the building process, but the specifics vary depending on where you live. Most areas mandate that decks comply with local building codes and safety regulations for the foundation, framing, and structure. Some pros recommend a footing inspection, which verifies the depth, width, and location of the various footings to ensure they offer enough foundational support.

Composite decking may never warp, or it may warp quickly. Several factors can influence the rate of warping, including the material's quality, installation method, and installation location. Generally speaking, high-quality materials that have been installed properly are drastically less prone to warping.

The best paver for your pool deck depends on your budget, style, and how much maintenance you’re willing to invest. Granite is one of the best low-cost pavers for pool decks. It’s very slip-resistant and durable, too, making it a top pick. Travertine is a high-quality material that resists freeze-thaw cycles, looks stunning, and won’t get hot in the summer. The only downside to travertine is that it costs more than granite.

Composite decking requires a solid foundation, substructure, or subframe to ensure stability. This base is typically composed of posts, beams, joists, and footings. The frame's joists can be built from various materials like composite, plastic, timber, or metal, as long as the base can support the deck's weight without shifting. A professional deck builder might recommend installing the frame on a solid concrete base for added durability. The final design and materials for the substructure will depend on your budget, the type of deck, and environmental conditions.

You can add a roof to most decks, but you need to have it inspected first. If your deck didn’t come with a roof initially, it may not be able to handle the weight without some structural changes. You can add additional supports to your existing deck to safely add a roof, and tying your deck’s roof to an exterior wall can help add some structural stability, but remember these aren’t DIY projects and need to be left to a pro.
