He did NOT charge me for unnecessary or unfinished work. After hundreds of dollars and lots of time wasted (on 3 different companies), Ben Franklinâ s customer service representative informed me that they did not currently have anyone available to service my call, but she offered me a â standby appointmentâ . I accepted the option because I was incredibly desperate! However, I did NOT expect anyone to actually show up! Thank you God for Ben Franklin and Eric Burns (the plumber that was dispatched to my house)! Within an hour of my call to them, Eric showed up and literally saved our home from being damaged beyond repair. We thought we had a simple toilet & bathtub clog. It turned out that the main sewer line was severely clogged and had already almost completely covered my backyard with FECES & URINE. These same sewer lines also connect to a popular local BBQ restaurant, that neighbors my property. Neither the restaurant owner nor I, had any knowledge that this was even happening.
